Given what Robinson said on investment, it is not surprising then that Northland analyst David Johnson is predicting EBITDA of just £1.5mln and adjusted EPS of 1.4p a share.
“There are an awful lot of costs we have decided we have to throw into this because the end prize is so big. And I am not talking about five or seven years down the road,” says the APC CEO, who envisages the profits developing consistently over the next few years.
“The short term investment will subdue very short-term profitability but already we are seeing it begin to generate a return.”
The shares are currently changing hands for 25p each, or 18 times forward earnings per share.
Northland reckons they are worth 35p each.
