I am just a small investor but a long term holder - with little knowledge of how markets work. However I use a execution only broker where the fee is less than £6 per transaction buy or sell. There is no advise and importantly no pressure to buy or sell any profit or loss is made on my own judgement. Why bother with an expensive broker who is only there to make money for themselves?
Am I wrong in thinking that the difference between mined and sold for Q2 of 5.2koz, sounds like a very big shipment thinking back to when Siko used to post weekly shipping? Suspect deliberate holding back to give them a good start to Q3.
As quite a naive small time investor, who by the way has learnt much from the excellent posts on here I would also like to put my two pen’orth into the questing game. When I have guessed before I have always been wildly optimistic so on this occasion I am going to go for 118k oz just a slight increase. This because I think they will want to exceed Q1, just, and assuming aisc is about the same, as pong has been over 1250 for the quarter, things should look acceptable enough to be slightly ahead of forecast. If they have managed to exceed this and held back on shipments it will give them an excellent start to h2 with gold over 1400. Soz if what I say is daft but I like abet and I have had the odd voddy or two.
At the moment to get trough 1250 though very close.
J P Morgan expect gold to remain 1200 to 1250 for first half of 2019 then rise towards 1400 in the final three months.

At least we managed to hold 110 today
Here are three more Rumania, Slovakia, Bosnia Hertz. I never like to presume but I will guess Tibbs that you do not live in a area with a substantial percentage of residents from these countries or come across many on you Cornish jaunts. How can you say we have control of our boarders when we clearly do not. You say we wer lied to by leave politicians should we believe Corbyn and macDonald who assure us they can pull off some miracle deal where we can have our cake and eat It? If the referendum had been 52 remain 48;leave what would you be saying to leavers who wanted a second vote? We are something like the 7th largest economy in the world Europe exports more to us than we to them. I don’t expect leaving will be without it’s problems but I still feel we are better out. Rambling on on here will not change people’s minds so please leave leaving off the board - I find most posts on here informative and I have learnt much reading it so please post your political thoughts elsewhere
Thanks again I have been sitting tight from my original purschase at 110 down into the 30’s and back up again to the 190’s and back to where we are now. I have added on the way at the wrong times, I only occasionally have money to invest, in small amounts, so buy when I can, usually at the wrong time. I am an optimist and a hoper so I still believe that some time in the next couple of years we will get to that, now far of, 200!
Firstly may I belatedly thank those who replied to my question. It seems to me that what I ask has been answered, US employment and wages higher, figures released just before the mid- terms, very handy! However the S&P 100 has fallen not risen, the high dollar and tariffs hurt profits and gold price remains fairly strong. I hope, because i am unable to give a constructive opinion, that after the mid terms gold will continue to strengthen as US inflation starts to rise. I have to hope because I am a long term holder, with a small investment compared to many posters, who seems to always buy at the wrong time, as my average price is just over 120. Roll out the second LHDR and bring on 2019.
I don’t post usually on here due to lack of knowledge that fellow posters have. How ever I would like to ask the view of those who are more experienced than me think that those who are spinning the plates will do anything to keep the dollar and S&P up and gold down until after the mid terms? I would like to thank those who do post regularly for the insight I have gained from them.
May I join in the guessing game? If so can I suggest 118750. To save further questions I am a long term holder with a small investment. I first bought at 110 watched as they plunged into the 30’s and then back up so bought a few more at 110 and then 124 and finally a few more at 164. I have no investment experience hence I do not post but thank all that do. It has given me great insight into many things
