yeah the bouncing around may be less "market maker driven" if we were on sets as individuals orders would come up on the order book, not just market makers. The share would be far less prone to be manipulated then because practically anyone with a bit of cash could be an "Unofficial" market maker

well its an attention grabber when refined. More importantly it gives GF the opportunity to sell some gold.

It seems clear to me that ALBAs interests lie around being the dominant partner in a number of bilateral selling agreements with reputable , Wales based jewellers. ALBA can dictate terms in the same way as many upstream London and Antwerp diamond dealers control the supply of gems to jewellers.

What ALBA definitely DO NOT NEED is to come to an agreement with a single "global brand" type offtake partner, who frankly would be in a far more powerful position. In the long run it would devalue the unquiness of welsh gold as its foreged into tasteless footballers wives bling

@copland, viable grades spoil heap. Given the low operational cost of obtaining the material from the spoil heap (360 digger, truck to processing plant) as compared to mining, then quite low grades are viable. Many SA mines work on cut offs of around 3 g Au / T

With respect to the tynycornel spoil heap, most will be barren, as tynycornel adit is a cross cut driven through country rock. However some near surface waste will be from quartz discarded after visible gold was picked out by hand. There's likely to be quite a lot missed and recoverable by processing plant. Not a vast amount, but nevertheless valuable
