Good that newmont want to test the extent of the size of Anza. As part of their portfolio improvement and to improve their reserves in the future. They must be confident in what Anza deposit could hold to commit like this. The grades are amazing so far and will make the economics outstanding.

This month sometime. Could be early January for the NI report as stock market closed for a few days over Xmas and new year. Then hopefully news of some drilling would be good. Especially on some untested sites

Newmont need to improve reserves quickly as they are mining a depleting asset. Anza will help increase reserves and they won't wait years to do it. It benefits there share price yo increase reserves

Why all the site visits then. More than 15 of them. It's not about $2m it's about what they are progressing and funding to production. Is that only $2m? No

Newmont won't do that. That's not how they do business. Any low offer would be bettered by another company that omi were in talks with before choosing Newmont

Why would shareholders approve a silly low offer?

Hardly big sells are they. People get bored and move on. How would they know anything different unless it was insider information which is very unlikely.

Newmont have taking stakes in many projects in Columbia for it to just be a punt now.
