Like Potnak I am strting to think there is a bigger game going on here. Are Sierra being manipulated by a big Pharma? To what end? Perhaps it too soon to find a cure for a huge number of cancers. The pharma's have not yet made enough from the current treatments. If they can delay for a couple of more years whilst making money from current treatments, then produce a cure / treatment that really works, they make more money (as not doubt the price fro treatments will have gone up and demand will be greater). Oh what a cynical frame of mind i am in today. (AIMHO). Elcap

If SAR do have a view on Dexamethasone they should be seen to be commenting on it. No point in being best in class if no one then knows about the tolerability of our TYK2 with Dexamethasone. If we have an angle Tim and John should brief Citigate today to get us some media coverage to help add credibility to our proposition in front of the pharma sector and to get Sar seen as a key mover and shaker in the sector. It's not rocket science. It just needs to be actioned. Stop sitting on this great data Tim and John and start shouting about it.

We are aware of the reports of dexamethasone being beneficial to patients with severe Covid-19. We will be taking this information into account in any future studies in this area that we may undertake with our TYK2/JAK1 inhibitors, and will update the Market as appropriate.

If anyone else has any questions to ask SAR they should email them. I have received 2 responses to my email. I'm feeling much more positive now.

I implore you and Sareum to focus more of your efforts on PR and messaging to the market.

Please provide us with an RNS that gives us a full account of where we are and what the company vision is.

Shareholders want to believe but lack of information and understanding of what direction you want to go in is severely hampering the shareprice.

You have a duty to shareholders to provide as much clarity as you can. I understand there are rules about what you have to RNS, however rather than RNS only what you have to, start laying out your plans and explaining why we are where we are.

12 months ago you stated we would have transformational news within 12 months. 12 months on and we are no further forward. If an offer was made for the company but did not meet your requirements please share this information. If no explanation is given as to why we are no further forward in selling our molecules the perception in the market is that you have been doing nothing other than stringing us along.

I truly believe in Sareum and the drugs you are developing. It’s time to start shouting from the rooftops about what we’ve got, it’s potential and your vision for the future.

We need to know:

1) Has the grant application gone in.
2) What is the company strategy re COVID.
3) What is the study and what does it involve.
4) What are the timescales.
5) Why did you say 12 months ago we would transformational news within a year? What changed? Why did whatever it is you were referring to not come off.
6) DO we plan to run 1801/1802 through all preclinical trials or are we still looking to sell / work in partnership.
7) What do we want to happen with SRA737

Great find Simon! I am little perplexed that once again it is the PI's who are finding and publicising this type of info. I want to believe something big is happening behind the scenes. It is frustrating. SAR could have tweeted this news along with the link. It is frustrating to think SRA737 has only been in the shop window for 2 weeks. It is even more frustrating that SAR have not mentioned it is now in the shop window. Perhaps it is because there is already a buyer???? I hope so or it smacks of incompetence. COME ON SAR!!!! I STILL BELIEVE.

Singapore string - I am no expert but I thought the Sareum molecule does is block the triggers in the immune system that make the immune system over-respond, which is the main reason COVID kills people. It is the over-response of the immune system to COVID that kills the patient. Not COVID itself. (I'm sure others will correct me if I am wrong on this).

Who knows what this week holds. Someone on another bb said iro large buying, if there is a leaky ship when it comes to info, to get around Insider dealings large purchases are usually made around 10 working days before announcements are due to be made. If this is correct then we may see some positive info this week. (Based on the huge amount of buying that went on a week and a half ago). I am only hypothesizing, before anyone accuses me of knowing anything I shouldn't. AIMHO

Drusus - we are all entitled to our opinion. For me the silence and the waiting was frustrating me. We had no idea what was happening or what the next steps were going to be. We now have some certainty. Perhaps the COVID 19 situation changed the landscape and we pulled out of a deal as there was a bigger better opportunity waiting in the wings. I have been a VLTH of this share. I am not too bothered about the day 2 day SP. I am happy to hold for a long time yet. I believe SAR will reach the promised land, and when they do I will be very happy. I believe we have something special. Who knows you could be right and I could be wrong. Only time will tell. GLA whatever your decisions are. If SP drops tomorrow I will top up.

I may be a lone voice here, whilst any dilution is never received well by holders, personally I think it is no bad thing them continuing alone. The further they get down the road of developing the drugs, the higher the less risk there is for a big pharma and an increased value when we come to sell. I believe they have a plan, the £200k grant being awarded to the scientist who was working on our drug was announced last week, I think there is more news in the offing. I am glad a decision was made, doing nothing was the problem, now we have a direction.

NG out. Whilst we may not know whether it is good for SAR, what we definitely do know is that it is not bad for SAR.
The Status quo was of NG was definitely not good, so his replacement will either be the same, or better for us. I least their is now a chance things will change at Sierra for the good (for us).

Just watched a piece on BBC News re. a new study regarding T.cells and IL7. HOw do our compounds link in with (if at all) with IL7?

Unlike most companies on AIM, Sareum holds it cards very close to its chest. (Too close for my liking).
However what this does mean is it will be very unlikely for news to leak ahead of any announcement. Sareum are anything but a leaky ship. When news does land things will happen very quickly.
