I've lost count of the number of spikes I have seen whilst a holder that I did not act on. I could have double, treble or quadruple my holdings now had I top sliced and re bought on the dips. It took me years to learn the lesson. If you disagree with this strategy on a moral basis then fair play to you. However I don't make the rules of the game, I am just playing the game. The objective for me to make some profit for myself and my family. Since I have begun top slicing I have made managed to increase my holdings. You can take a holier than though attitude if you want and good luck to you. But if I had any advice to share from what I have learnt over the 6 or 7 yrs investing on AIM is that you will lose money if you do not play to the rules of the game. Ultimately you pays your money and you make your choices. I for one kick myself that I did not have the discipline / courage to top slice earlier. Does that make me a bad person. I don't think so. For all you newbies to trading. Only invest what you can afford to lose. Sperate out your investment into holding amount and trading amount. I do 90/10 and set automated sell orders for the 10% you are using to top slice. It takes away the need to be self disciplined. I am naturally a glass half full person so ever time it rises I think this time it is the real thing. By setting automated sell limits takes the decision making out of my hands. The difference between LTH's and traders is that they have 90/10 split the other way. Then there is everyone in between. There is no right way to invest, there is only the right way for you. Potnak - ordinarily I would probably say No, but with SAR who knows. If they sold the company tomorrow it would probably take them a month or two before they let us know.

I disagree Baserite - Most (if not all) LTHs truly believe the company is on the cusp of multibagging. However most Private Investors will look to use a percentage of their holdings to top slice and buy back in if the SP drops. It took me a few years of pain before I learnt to be disciplined enough to do this. FYI - I topped up via primary bid at .6 a couple of months ago and immediately set a sell order for .76. I will now try and pick a target price to reinvest that money and top up again. I will then set another sell order limit to automatically to go through at a figure 20% + of my buy in price. That is my strategy. I do not believe any LTH has "ramped" this share. By definition we believe in the potential of this company, or we wouldn't be invested. For the record, I first bought in on a 1.3p spike (I think, it might have been 1.5p I can't remember) many years a go. Good luck Michelle. Brighty - Lack of comms from SAR makes my blood boil. They do appear to have a major blindspot when it comes to having a PR strategy. I think they see it as ramping. PR is a dirty phrase to them. I don't know why they can't understand it is an important part of the jigsaw. May I say vital part of the mission, the mission being to maximum the SP henve value to the Private Investors, who in this case own almost all of the company. Beggars belief to be honest, but there's far worse sins out there being committed by AIM companies and Ceo's every day so I suppose it's not the worst thing in the world. JUST INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING.

With SAR, they are not at all good at sharing information. Therefore lack of information (whilst usually a sign that the company has no info to share) is not necessarily that there is no info, just that SAR don't want to share that info with us. We all agree it is not right for them to withhold info, especially when it is positive (Lupus being a perfect example), however no news does not mean no news, it just means SAR `don't want to share it with us. LTH's believe we are on the cusp of something tangible and solid that will raise the SP significantly. We were always looking at Q3 / Q4. The Lupus news was welcome, but most LTH's still have Q3/Q4 as the period most likely to produce transformational change to the SP. We will see. Elcap

Herbie - I'm not sure I agree with you on that. SAR don't like releasing news at any time. Further more they only released the last RNS because the info had been found and shared on this BB. Do you think they would have RNS'd the US Army data had it not been reported on this BB? They could have released the info anytime over the previous month, or in fact any time in the future. SAR only release news when they absolutely have to, even then it appears they do so through gritted teeth. Whilst it is frustrating, I do not see how it supports your argument. AIMHO. Elcap

Are "old timers" iro SAR. I'm a relative newbie. I've only been a holder of SAR for about 5 or 6 yrs. Man times over the years I have been tempted to sell the lot. Usually I would not listen to the voices on BB's, but SAR has been different. A lot of LTH's with a hell of a lot of knowledge. I won't thank them all yet. I'll save that for when the SP multi multi multi bags from these levels. Elcap

Zylo - we may have to get our thinking caps on then. Although I'm am cautious that we should not all get a head of ourselves. Let's see where this goes next week. I would imagine there will be plenty of time to think about it. I would be surprised if shares are suspended. There's a lot more info that needs to come first. Also, depending on how much of the company we own, we may have to vote on any offer, whether to accept or decline.
Will depend on how many shares are in the hands of the private Investors.
