WOW! I take Thoth2's prediction that we are "in play" with possible takeover very seriously. Never in the past years has Thoth ever been so bullish. A lot of the LTH's believe we are on the cusp of something really big. I will not bee selling a single share. I too am a LTH and things have never looked to positive. (Well, not in the 7yrs I have been in this share).

Normally Ireland v Wales I would support Ireland against Wales as Mum is Irish (I'm English, Dad is Scottish) but I've got £30 on Wales at 9/4. So COME ON YOU WELSH. Although I'm English the Welsh anthem gets me every time, (Irish and Scot also).

Wish I stayed in RMS when I did my quick double my money shift from SAR to RMS then back again to try and recoup my losses.
Heyho it's only money. I am in BRH so that should fly on the back of RMS (as BRH own 25% of RMS). Oh well! When I shifted 1/4 of my holdings out of SAR for 3 hrs I panicked. I' ve been in so lonf I can't even bring myself to sell any of my SAR shares without panicking it will happen (magic RNS) at that moment.

Happy to wait for next RNS. If that states Sale complete or funding is resolved (get out of death spiral funding) then I will be happy. If it says placement I will sell and never touch any company where AP is involved. It's a binary decision for me. No point moaning about it, I am at end point with AP. **** or get off the pot. I reserve judgement until that point. Red or black????

From memory we have already had P1 trials in the UK so that would mean payment was to be made immediately.

I think we might need further clarity on exactly what has been agreed.

Remember milestones are only due when 1st patient in the US is given treatment.

What we don't know, is the ramifications if CRT had not agreed with SRRA. Potentially it could have further delayed things massively if CRT had to take it back then seek A N Other to move the trails etc forward. There is a price to keeping it with SRRA and avoid further delays. We now know the price (ie difference in prior agreement to this new agreement), what we don't know is how much additional time and cost it would have taken to find the A N Other. Either way, as long as SRRA move forward immediately with the project I am relaxed. There can be no more hold ups. (I am sure CRT would have insisted on this point). Whilst reduction in overall prize is frustrating, if it gets us to the promised land quicker then all is good. And remember no one was counting on SRA737 coming through in the short term. All eyes have been on SDC1801 / 1802. Perhaps things are looking up. As a negotiator we almost always (not everytime) feel if we had negotiated we could have got more. GLA Elcap

I stand corrected not SAR, CRT.
In my view conversation went something like this
SRRA: We want to move forward but cannot commit to these high milestone payments. If these aren't reduced we will kick the development into the long grass.
CRT: OK we will agree to reduce the milestone payments, and the overall amount due in royalties if you agree to proceed post haste.
SRRA: We will agree to move forward immediately and make the newly agreed milestone payment.
So whilst it does appear we have a smaller piece of the pie, at least we will be getting that piece in the very near, if not immediate future.

Clearly SRRA have told SAR either we lower the amount we have to pay you (both in the short term and the long term) or we don't move forward and you will get nothing. My day job is as an negotiator. I negotiate multi million£/$ deals on a daily basis for clients. Unless there is something we don't know I am massively underwhelmed with the negotiating skills of SAR on this. (To be fair, there might be things we don't know but on the face of it, poor negotiating).

I read it to say instead of getting a $7.5M payment iro Phase 1 in USA, we will get $2M. Nothing for Phase 2 (before we were on for $12M) and we have lowered the highest amount we can get paid from $350M to $290M. the 27.5% remains the same.

Hi Potnak, I don't think anything that has been said here breaches those rules. We are not affecting the price of the share, nor sharing confidential info. Nor are we making any recommendations to buy or not buy a particular share. What we may be doing (if it exists) is reduce the ability of brokers to "borrow" our shares that we own. Many think brokers engage in that sort of practice, many don't. That is not for us to say. Either way we are not doing anything at to manipulate the SP. I have done a little research and info I have found is that Brokers can borrow stock to facilitate shorts. If no stock to borrow brokers have to buy the stock to use for short. AIMHO. GLA Elcap

ii will only let you do it for 150% of the current SP. Unless someone knows how to circumnavigate that I won't be able to do it. (I have put a sell order for 1/4 of my holdings at 2.2p but it is making me a little nervous.

testing will be here for the foreseeable future. Vaccines or not. Sporting venues, nightclubs, planes etc etc will all jump on testing as soon as a low priced, reliable, easy to use, rapid response test becomes available. Just because vaccine is available it will be a requirement that all places where people mass together in large crowds will have to test. Imagine going to football stadium. 80,000 supporters all need to provide rapid test result showing negative on the way into the ground. No masks need to be worn inside the stadium. No social distancing required. Same for restaurants, bars, planes. Market is massive and not going away any time soon.

I am still looking at RMS (which was the one I jumped on to). It went up even higher than the Sell limit I had on it. by about another 50%. But I was on work Zoom meetings so I set limit and carried on working. I think they will go higher. BRH is the other share I am in which I was tempted to buy back into. SAR, BRH & RMS all dropped like stone. RMS went down 80% on Monday Tuesday so it was a safeish bet that it was going to bounce significantly. Not normally so lucky but this time it worked out.

My portfolio was down over 50% this week. Took a huge gamble and sold 1/4 of my SAR holdings this morning. Reinvesting cash in another share which (thankfully) then went up 125%. Sold them all a couple of hours later, managed to put all that moneyback into SAR at 1.3. Upshot is I bought back twice as many SAR shares that I sold this morning. That was an incredibly stressful few hours. (And I have had a number of ZOOM meetings at the same time). Phew. Gonna hold from here. It's too stressful. Elcap
