Our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with QuotedData's Edward Marten has just been released. Listen here.
I’ve given up trying to make any sense of this stock.
I still don’t understand who would bother dealing in the small amounts that go through given there is no liquidity.
Number of people talk about the shorts , but as far as I can tell there is not a single short position on this stock.
I there is then if love to know how much I could lend my stock out for.
All it takes is one individual or energy company to come in and this thing will gap, unless it’s done behind the scenes, but if that was the case then why is Duncan buying stock at these levels. Been with this one for nearly 10 years now and still have hopes of turning a corner .
Will probably open below 1 p again now
Quick question if anyone can help.
How does one short SAE stock?
I see no open short positions reported on LSE
I know for a fact my stock isn't leant out by my Broker and I am pretty sure none of the other traditional brokers that most of us use don’t lend out our shares.
IG wont let me trade SAE stock, long or short.
Interactive brokers quotes a bid but doesn’t let me sell.
Full disclosure… I am long and currently wrong but written it off
“ The request for the deferral requires the agreement of 75% by value of debenture holders. The voting period has now opened and the results of the vote are expected during week commencing 27 June 2022. ”
That was in the last RNS
The article yesterday implies they have voted now?

that's partly my point
you say they sold over 2p?
they can't go short the stock to start with?
I have looked on multiple platforms and I can't short the stock (even though I don't want to).
Just trying to figure out the dynamics on a stock like this.
I have only one other AIM stock that behaves very differently. (AFC) but it was in the same place SAE is now about 2 years ago.
the parallels couldn't be more similar.
Not saying SAE will get to the same level as AFC, but here's hoping.
FGO I am an original investor from before the float and have been adding smalls over the years. as well as quite significantly below 1.5 over the last year. Lets see what happens.
