well that's certainly an interesting development

At least people in TT are starting to suggest reforms to SPT. I suspect we are a long way from action being taken though? Invested at 20p on TRIN and have averaged down a couple of times.

given the heights the share price reached a few years ago and the subsequent drop I'd definitely say this share is a long term prospect. The takeover is now looking unlikely IMO (which I'm glad about). If PFG launched a takeover bid you'd expect a drop in SP and a rise in the NSF share price.

I'm happy to be positive about PFG long term. They've come through a difficult period with the FCA and despite all the set backs have managed to reinstate the dividend. I must admit however that I sold my ISA holding of PFG shares for a small profit. I am of course still holding shares but my exposure to them has been reduced. I hope this helps?

No I'm not considering accepting for offer.

Firstly I think its massively undervaluing the company. And in the near future the FCA may start crawling all over the NSF.

The recent re-instatement of the dividend (despite the very rough ride the company has had) shows the resilience of the company. And as we all know . . . money lending never goes out of fashion.

I held this share for about a year - before, through and after the consolidation. I averaged down a few times and sold for a small profit at about £7
But if I'm honest I'm just not convinced by this company at all.
I've no doubt the technology has huge potential and in years to come I think gene therapy will be worth huge sums but generally the bod doesn't communicate adequately enough and the swinging of the share price for no apparent reason just got too annoying in the end.

A lot of very good points made in this thread. I do maintain high hopes for this share having averaged down a few times over the last few months.

But I still see this share as being a moderate risk, lots of news to come, some may be positive. But trying to predict how the market will react is always tough . . .

the company has issued new equity today - in the region of a 1/4 of a million shares. These will come into effect in about 2 days time. No obvious reason I can see other than this. Probably a good opportunity to average down IMO

Yes I’d have to agree the market reaction does seem rather OTT. I think pfg have had a few problems - some more than trivial. But there is still a very good business here and the reinstating of the dividend is a huge plus. I’m not sure whether we’ll see a doubling or trebling of the SP but I think long term prospects look decent. Buy.
