As always very good points made. But as said this is a long term hold. Me may see a big hike in the SP if Woodford does us all a favour and f***s off but I holding this share for the dividend potential is a good way to claw back some loses over time?
We are looking at a final dividend of 20p this year after all?
Any thoughts?

I've invested in ALM in the past and made a few quid and as the interims are due soon I've taken the plunge again this morning. Would like to think 80p is achievable in the short term. And crystal amber have been quiet on ALM lately so perhaps they're happier with ALM's fundamentals??

10.2p average but not a big investor in this.

Could be a positive sign of things to come. And the strategic licence extension is a step in the right direction IMO

Ritchard - I don’t think you’re mad at all.
But from my point of view this is a long term hold. I’ve averaged down plenty of times but I’m happy just to sit and watch this for the long term :)

I'm not anticipating any big rises in the price this month (straw clutching at maximum) given the fact that its summer holiday time. For me the share price should be around the levels we reached after they fought off the NSF hostile takeover.
No more averaging down for me for the foreseeable. Sitting on a loss of about £1200 at present

I think you’ve made some excellent points. Money lending never ever goes out of fashion. Woodford is up the creek and he’s flogging loads of listed assets because he’s got no choice. The buying volumes and the share price make no sense. As well as the clear up turn in the company’s performance. We’ll turn the corner eventually, we just need to sit tight.

We could speculate into the wee hours about what's going.

But the MM's must be loving this share atm. Lots of traders must be playing this share on a daily basis? Buying low then bailing out once they've made 5 or 10%

Doesn't do long term investors any good. I huge rise is well over due. And volumes for the share decent today.

Anyone like to speculate as what's going on?

Looks like my guess for support at 390 was a good one. Fingers crossed we see my steady progress with the 15th coming up on the horizon. GLA
