Good to see some honest debate as apposed to ramping and de-ramping
I think unfortunately AIM shares such as this are far too open to manipulation from MM's
Its the risk we take as investors in such stocks. I'm sitting tight - this share will have its day I'm sure. GLA!

Cant say I pay much attention to ratings. It doesn't generally make the company better or change sentiment

500K plus being bought and very few sells.

Certainly agree with the idea of the MM's doing a bit of tree shaking
Hopefully for wider market will wake up to this being positive news
Then we should see some nice upwards movement

I'm not buying in again - the price is currently above my average.

I can appreciate there's a risk with any AIM share (and in Africa more so) but IMO the potential upside here is huge. Thorny river project and gravel pits at Marsfontein could yield huge profits.
If the heard get a whiff of something this will be a multi-bagger.

When a ship as big as PFG hits the rocks a lot of steadying is required.
The FCA are making life rather difficult atm. But given the recent demise of another payday lender I think cautious optimism is warranted. The market reaction also appears fairly positive.

I've followed Academy's test and tried to trade the share.

No problem at all doing it. Unless the LSE are attempting to freeze trading for something.

I agree - something is afoot. Perhaps the hawkeye deal / divi has been decided?

I won’t be investing in Faron again. Yesterday was grotesque. My average was 107p and I’m pleased I sold when I did.

I've bought and sold this stock many times over the past year or so and made some nice money.
But if there was EVER a reason not to go near Faron until 2020 its todays price behaviour. Lots of people will have made big sums. But lots of people will have lost huge sums also

Unlike some boards there's very little ramping or de-ramping on here which is good to see

I would like to think however that reaching £5 - £6 in the next 6 months isn't unfeasible. A lot may hinge on the next set of interims and also how far the BOD can push the divi (IMHO)

I sincerely hope so Harry! I've averaged all the way down from the low 60's to the low 20's in the hope that the sound fundamentals of the company aren't an illusion.
I return of the share price to the 30's and 40's would be a great result. Very hopeful this is the catalyst (as you say) the company needs.

I think there will always be a roll in the economy for sub-prime lenders such as PFG. The FCA has managed to eradicate the pay day loan companies due to eradicate PFG, NSF etc would be a huge problem for a lot of people (and the government) and the economy.
I'd like to think we've negotiated the FCA gauntlet for the time being. Onwards on upwards IMO
