Good to see some debate going on.

I bought into allied minds maybe a year ago and made about 10% profit so sold my holding.
I've kept my eye on the price though and decided to re-enter at the 60p mark a few months ago, and I've averaged down a couple of times.
I was tempted to sell after I'd secured a divide from the hawkeye sale but I'm sticking with this share because

a) crystal amber aren't stupid and are finally making some inroads
b) FW has got IMO massive potential and could get bought for multiples of hawkeye
and
c) I suspect a lot on investors will re-invest the dividend on Feb 14th and we'll see some progress

any thoughts?

No I wasn’t at the AGM. But I’ve always reviewed BOD as a definite slow burner. In the past we’ve seen SP’s of 5 and 6 pence so in time and given the right luck I can see us moving into 2 or 3p territory. My average is 1p at the moment and if we drift around 0.6p a while longer I’ll be topping up. As you say there’s lots to be optimistic about but when it comes to African exploration nothing can be taken for granted.

I'm very hope that the Thorny River project is catalyst for a good year. And hopefully the Marsfontein gravel pits will yield some much needed money to keep the momentum up.

I very hopeful that Federated Wireless will do the business over the coming months and we'll see a SP closer to the NAV

ALM’S share in federated wireless is currently 73%? And in 2016 federated was valued at $60million up from $9 million.
If 5G does the business we all hope what kind of a bid could we expect for federated wireless?

Some really good posts on here today without ramping.
To join the chorus a bit I would agree that federated wireless is the reason why I’ve not sold my holding.
I think crystal amber will play ALM perfectly over the coming months. And federated wireless could be the joker in the pack so to speak. although we may not see multiples of the current share price we may see a value much closer to NAV.

Think that's a very good spot from you.
I'd happily sell this stock before the ex divi drop kicks in but I think Federated Wireless will be the trigger for some serious upward movement.

Yes quite right. I should've said a positive outcome from the FCA regarding money barn will lift the SP.

PFG have set aside 20 million to cover fines etc so hopefully this has been factored in current prices

But no mention of how much the contracts are worth. Maybe once the ££ is revealed we'll see an RNS and also an uptick in the share price?
We seem to have consolidated at 25-27p, maybe we'll see some movement into the 30's given time?

I think the price is cheap at the moment. But general sentiment towards this sector isn't great. Aside from the huge Aramco float in Saudi Oil seems to be out of fashion. Lots of valid points made on this discussion board with people pointing out the goodness in Trinity which is worth baring in mind. I am a long term holder with an average price on 13.5p
I'm not selling as I think 15-20p in very achievable in the medium term. But is it absolutely your choice. Investing for a fast buck may not be the best idea . . . . if you buy, you may have to hold long term IMO
