A good theory regarding FW outgrowing ALM and an eventual IPO. That would be a fantastic payday for us all.
The link up with Amazon could be the start of something monstrous.
I just hope I've got the patience for it :-)

To buy FW wouldn’t even be a blip on their radar

I bought in originally because I thought fulcrum (through Bayford or vice versa) would become involved with electric charging points. And with the big shortage of them nationally I thought they could grow the business very nicely. I definitely bought in with the long term in mind. But wasn’t looking for the dividend income particularly
Then of course fulcrum made a few silly mistakes and we tumbled from the 60’s downwards

Personally I hated the tender approach from Harwood. But maybe you're right about there motives.

I think this is a very good company. But I invested at 286p, and then covid came along . . .
I've been reluctant to invest further in order to average down as we COULD see a big dip in the SP when the financial damage that's potentially been done is realised. I think that in the long term this could be a good target for a private equity buy out.
I'm in long term whether I like it or not :-)

Diamonds recovered from the gravels at marsfontein will be a source of revenue.
Admittedly I am waiting for a buyout.
If BOD have discovered marsfontein 2 it would be easy for one of the big boys to come in and buy the company and therefore all the mining rights.

Yep - true.
Invested here on the day it returned to AIM and made £650 very quickly.
So I reinvested my original stake to try my luck again.
Let’s hope this parasite comes up trumps for us
