yes, this makes sense, although it sometimes happens that majors take a stake without the motive to take over completely.
Personally, I do agree though, and think the same could therefore be said already about Newcrest and especially BHP.
I do think its just a matter of time before we get bought and although it would prob suit SOLG to keep the other projects, take overs rarely happen like that. Its much more likely they will buy all of SOLG, which then bodes the question what value will they put on the other projects, and will this match the value NM believes we are worth?
I think one of the reasons NM may take this to production, although I see this as unlikely now, is that he doesn't want to sell SOLG too cheap/early and wants the best value for his shares.?
Its defo like a game of chess from here IMO, although from an outside perspective, including those experts who comment on the situation, it does seem we are getting closer to take over.
