I agree, it depends what price they get them for, if its around 18p or less, then yes I see further drops short term. If they are 20p then happy days.

Also it will be a lot of shares introduced to the market and hopefully there will be a lock in period where they have to hold them for x amount of time.

The story is a good one IMO, but short term I think it will have a negative impact on SP, unless the shares are priced at 20p, but this unlikely

As you say however we dress it up, its still dilution, so if its 15% dilution I can see us drooping on confirmation of the details.

Doesn't concern me longer term but I like to buy/ top up as cheap as possible these days, been burnt too many times believing the hype, instead of waiting for the drops, which inevitably come at certain points.

15p recently, so not sure how it won't retrace back there once dilution happens? for me that will be a safer top up after todays news.

longer term I think its good if someone on the ground believes in a company to accept shares instead or in part payment. Not sure it was clear about that however, just says to finance more aggressive exploration I believe.

I'm not happy this has come so soon after recent director purchases/raise at 20p, wouldn't surprise me if its so they can get some cheaper.

we can only go on the date its released re presentation, however I think this was prob last year, as suggested on here, as there is no way Alpala can grow 2-3 times from here, more like 20-30% from what has been released.

However, If this guy is suggesting it is 2-3x world class then its defo world class lol, and that is whats important.

Guess we have to wait for the numbers to come out re PEA and for news of any corporate activity or further stake building

Yes that would be my preferred option re just selling Cascabel, However the more times passes the more I believe a major paying millions will want the whole company then the element of risk is offset with potential future finds even better, or far better than Cascabel
I think NM stated he doesn’t want peice meal deals and that it’s unlikely that the first project out of 10-15 would be the best
Perhaps that’s why Nm wishes to crack on with Pov district to try and get another discovery under our belt before a major comes in

I find it very encouraging Newcrest bought more at 40p recently, as well as the obvious BHP stake increase at higher price.

With Newcrest sniffing around Cornerstone things could get interesting there too. Pretty sure Newcrest don't have the funds to buy us out on their own, but with another major interested could be the perfect combo? what do people think the chances of a BHP/Newcret JV happens.

Personally I think we will get an offer form a third miner, sparking the bidding war, wouldn't that be juicy.

Its fairly consistent among the experts that copper will be sought after over the coming decades re supply and demand, and the price should rise, especially as the demand for electric vehicles comes into play , I've read a few articles recently to that effect.

I like it. I will wait for the next retrace to buy my first tranche, if I miss out then so be it, but one of my rules now is Don't buy in after a big rise.
