Its a WIN WIN for both parties IMO and CGP share holders may indeed want to get their hands on some SOLG shares just as BHP and Newcrest have.

We are still holding the 38p range which IMO is positive and I think the delay is more strategic tbh, re corporate manoveures

They have a case re Solg taking their time releasing news that could increase their value, however I guess that’s how it goes and NM is playing this to get the best value for SOLG share holders not for CGP or anyone else, I personally don’t see anything wrong with that at all

Also if a major buys CGPs share this will increase the likelihood of a take over here, and CGP share holders would surely benefit more from holding SOLG shares and NM being in full control when bids come in for SOLG, so it’s not all as you propose Zoros, I see the SP reacting positively to any buy out of their share.

The reason Irwin may not agree with cornerstone being sold to SOLG is not because he doesn't rate Cascabel, its actually the opposite is it not?

So surely its a positive that he feels they will get more value through holding on to their 15%.

Its interesting how some turn Irwin's views/comments into a negative for SOLG, when this just isn't the case from how i understand it.

Just wondering why the BOD haven’t released something in relation to the SP decline ?

I’m aware it’s not standard practice but it certainly is done in cases like this where there seems no apparent reason for such a large drop ?

hopefully they are putting together a resource update, for which the figures can be used int eh PEA?

that they would want to buy cornerstone before releasing the PEA and increasing value, although cornerstone will obviously know this.

If a major puts in a higher bid for cornerstone, it could well be the trigger for more substantial corporate action for SOLG.

Its all coming together, just more patience required.

I wonder how long they are allowed to keep drill results/assays before releasing them, as we must have a back log now?
