This is how I see it Grim rather than Striders analysis of the CGP situation, if a major takes out CGP then surely its greater goal would be to get all of Alpala and not just CGP's share.

Also as you say they get shares and therefore an interest in the other projects, which currently they don't.

On top of this, lets not forget that they get a hefty bill or lose their stake if we take it further, therefore the main reason they may turn it down is they are hoping for a bettor offer for their current share.?

I personally believe tha lack of new and slow down in release of news is purely strategic.

I also dont believe this is because NM wants to go alone on this, as if this was the case there would be no need to hold news back.

. If PEA is positive and I see no reason why it wouldn't be, then surely the majors can't ignore us for much longer.

Surely the biggest factor is co-operation from the government, re mining friendly and re assurance that spending billions with a time scale of decades, the majors want to be as sure as they can be that the situation is going to remain positive.I wonder if majors interested are able to have discussion with the government before an offer is made?, or would this be a conditional aspect of such an offer?. With SOLG having such good relations I can understand why NM believes its possible for us to go it alone, I just don't see this happening.

How do you see the go for gold strategy playing out then? as I initially I was under the impression it was the initial grades at BN, not yet drilled, that inspired this? I'm fairly sure they don't mean mining the gold at Alpala first?

If/when BN proves to be the exceptionally high grade resource he anticipates, again this would make it more appealing to one of the big miners, would it not?

I took it that NM meant he would sell for a fair price rather than he doesn't want to sell.
