current situation would certainly affect a bid at this time, once the court issue is dealt with and we get more of
those results out we should see a re rate IMO.
A mine of 50-60 year mine life will go through many cycles re the copper price, this is very important to understand and the majors will know this.
If anything the copper price is likely to rise from current levels and certainly as demand increase and resources dwindle the price will reflect this.
Lets wait and see shall we whether BHP and Newcrest or no longer interested, as proposed by Mr Panda/seeking alpha.
I disagree and would not be at all surprised if they do invest further, which the article suggests they won't.
