The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
well you haven't put money in have you , not for many years, so that argument means we would be up sh-- creek if the rest of us hadn't bought more.
Maybe confirmation of the news will give you a wake up call out of your denial that we are going to production alone.
I wouldn't go as far as Red and say your sniffing glue, although you didn't seem to mind that comment from him?
Its has very little to do with COVID, as we were on this trajectory/strategy before it came, with very little drill results etc until fairly recently.
Q talks a lot about conspiracies, but the biggest one is that our SP has not been affected negatively because of his strategy to go it alone. That is a fact not a conspiracy.
This is why the vast majority of people on here know this, its not because we want a sale on the cheap at all, that's the last thing most of want but the current strategy would have ended in exactly that.
Why he cant see this is anyone guess, maybe denial or ignorance ?
Monte because a certain amount of funding by a major is required for credibility form the market and big II's.
Its always a fine line, tricky balance, the next natural step is usually a JV, as over at GGP, or a sale.
The fact NM chose to go alone to production has spooked the market and they have marked us down accordingly.
This could change very quickly if indeed NM steps down.
exactly Monte,
Thats exactly why its so difficult for a minor explorer to make it to the big league, the amount of funding/dilution becomes too much.
Thats why I never agreed that we had a robust defence based on our share register, its almost impossible.
Even with BHP and NCM only on 13% each its looking like they have already forced our leader out.
Its important when its confirmed that the new BOD do everything they can to stop these two gettig us on the cheap.
Tandmeister,
A quick look through your own post history shows at least the last 30 of your posts on two different boards are jsut insults or critical of someone.
lets see of you can contribute anything useful yourself?
TMT with his classic the SP will probably drop considerably, or it may go up.
"I think there will indeed by PIs who will sell tomorrow and so the SP may drop, perhaps considerably. That's not going to make the gold disappear, though. And since NM's departure makes it more likely that it will come out of the ground in the foreseeable, it seems like an opportunity to me. Perhaps others will see it that way and will snaffle up the shares some PIs sell, and the price will go up instead. We shall see."
no sh-- sherlock, Jes why do you persist with such pointless comments.
.. is giving BHP and NCM a higher share, that way they would take over for peanuts.
That’s why the way forward s is tricky.
I’m sure our BOD will know how to get the best deal for sure holders. After all why wouldn’t they.
We still have a great chance of big rewards if they play it right.
IMO attempting to go alone to production is very risky indeed and will not end well at all.
I’m hoping the new board put a stop to this and instead get us a great sale price or a JV that works in our favour, leaving us to repeat he model on other discoveries.
Things could be much worse, as currently BHP, NCM and CGP don't have control, so the priority is getting the best deal for share holders before that happens.
Hopefully this is the reason and the new BOD didn't trust this would happen under the current strategy of going it alone to production.
The motions not passed effectively meant strategy had to change, so I'm hoping we go with what we have and not what they initially intended.
SOLG may not now become a major but he still has the opportunity to leave a legacy he is proud of.
I suspect things will move faster now if the news i true, as alwasy we will find out in due course after the big boys have had their share.
There are other majors who want these assets, its not just about BHP and NCM, Barrick, the Chinese, Rio, etc.
If the government agree of course, we need the PFS ASAP, and a big fat sale sign out to the market.
