Iman Hill appointed as Consultant for Jamaica
United Oil & Gas Plc (AIM: "UOG"), the oil and gas company with a high impact exploration asset in Jamaica and a development asset in the UK is pleased to announce that Iman Hill, United's Non-Executive Director, has agreed to provide consultancy services to support the progress of the Jamaican project.
Iman is a Petroleum Engineer with 30 years' experience in the oil and gas industry with extensive global expertise in the technical and commercial aspects of the petroleum business, in particular field development, capital projects, commercial negotiations, farm-outs and production operations. Iman's experience has been gained in the Middle East, North and West Africa, South America, the Far East, and the North Sea. Iman has worked in a number of diverse settings from onshore to ultra-deep water with companies that include BP, Shell, BG Group and Dana Gas, where as well as her role as Technical Director, GM UAE and President Egypt, she also ran one of the Egyptian joint ventures as Managing Director and Board member of the Egyptian Bahraini Gas Derivatives Company.
The Company has signed a consultancy agreement with Iman (the "Agreement") for an initial period of three months, which can be extended by mutual agreement or terminated by giving not less than one month's written notice. The consultancy fees will be commensurate with the role and any expenses must be agreed in advance. Iman will work in the Dublin office for the period of this assignment.
