I asked DH about that report a couple of weeks ago, he said he wasnt phased by it and it wasnt unusual for a d and t company like nextchemx to have those sort of problems, if you read it through it also states that the technology is working and should easily be upscalable and they are already working on a pilot plant, Overall its all very positive . IMO
No, their won't be any partnering with Russia or China, I believe all the ducks are now lined up including EU funding, its just a matter of waiting for the decision on 09/05 and hopefully things will start to move forward.
Grant of options, 60m not over the top and well deserved if he pulls it off, good sign of confidence IMO
I dont see we will have any problems getting through phase ll, we know our system works in the laboratery, and should be scalable to the pilot plant, once we are through phase 2 it should open the door to EU funding.

1 Proposal for pilot project,
2 minimally consider AACE (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering) standards for protections at conceptual level class IV level II
3 Visit to a salt flat and a production well for sampling
4 YLB will inspect the facilities of the proponents
23 COMPANIES IN PHASE II (UNTIL 09/05/2024)
What Rebel states is absolutely true, i'm baffled to why anyone is challenging it.
Seems things are moving Fast

La Paz, April 4, 2024 (UCI-YLB).- The National Strategic Public Company of Bolivian Lithium Deposits (YLB) awarded the Transport Cooperative "Vinto K" R.L., of the Vinto K community, in the Salar de Uyuni, Potosí, the "dump truck rental service for construction, maintenance and processing of raw material management 2024", generating the dynamization of the economy in the region.
YLB invited 14 national and southwestern Potosí companies and micro-enterprises, related to the sector, to participate in the call, under the modality of direct contracting for activities directly related to the business line or business. Two bidders were presented: the Delta Rio Grande S.R.L. Company, with a proposal of Bs 25 million, and the Vinto K R.L. Transport Cooperative, which offered Bs 15.5 million for the service, this being the proposal with the lowest price.
"The Transport Cooperative "Vinto K" R.L. complies with the conditions and technical characteristics of the requested service, being the company that offered its services at the lowest price, recommending the award," states the report YLB-GOM-0032-INF/24 of the state-owned company. The awarded company brings together families from different communities in the area, which means an economic movement for the communities surrounding the YLB Industrial Complex. The contracting process was published in SICOES and will be brought to the attention of the Office of the Comptroller General of the State, for its inspection and review within the framework of current regulations
From march 26th and thats calender days so includes weekends. @ 6 weeks from now
I would have thought we will know well before that, this paragraph below takes us to mid may, I would expect we would have results by then.
' In the next 52 calendar days, the 23 authorized companies will prepare their project proposals at a conceptual level, and will be able to carry out inspections of the salt flats subject to the call and access the information available in YLB. '
From 5th February RNS
The start of operations at the Texas pilot plant is now scheduled for Q2 2024. Timeframes have been adjusted for better results, over longer periods, to fulfil possibly higher future customer requirements. Key commissioning staff are being mobilised, and the pilot plant is being assembled.
Lithium will be in Massive demand in the future, from hospitals to milatary, computers to everyday items and yes whether we like it or not electric vehicles. Next-Chemx are tryaling a system of DLE which seemingly is going very well and clon have the contacts and means to use the system, its just a matter of time

Lithium Extraction
Demand for Lithium:
300,000 metric tons of lithium carbonate equivalent (“LCE”) produced per year.
3.5 million metric tons of demand per year for lithium is projected by 2035 representing a $45.5 billion annual market. (assuming $13,000/metric ton price for LCE)
Current Situation:
Current process requires evaporation of brines over 12 to 24 months, wasting water, followed by several filtration/processing stages.
Next-ChemX has discussed deploying a commercial pilot system of our NCX at a lithium mining operators brine field as soon as our laboratory demonstration produces detailed results so that economic projections can be shown on their brine samples.
Pilot plant currently under construction to trial the extraction and to confirm the economic advantages.
Im pretty certain DH has been over in Bolivia this weekend, lets see what happens this week.

The National Strategic Public Company of Bolivian Lithium Deposits (YLB) informs the public that, within the international call for "Expressions of interest on the development of projects and technology for the use of evaporitic resources", 23 companies accepted and signed an agreement for the exchange of technical information with YLB and its protection. and committed to the submission of project proposals to advance to the next phase: According to the call, the previous step to move to Phase II is the signing of an agreement with YLB for the exchange and protection of technical information and the signed commitment to present the proposal; In this sense, 23 companies complied with this requirement. In the next 52 calendar days, the 23 authorized companies will prepare their project proposals at a conceptual level, and will be able to carry out inspections of the salt flats subject to the call and access the information available in YLB. The international call was launched on January 26 of this year, the proposals were received by YLB until March 6 and the opening took place a day later, in the presence of a Notary Public of Faith. Five business days later, YLB verified compliance with the requirements. La Paz, March 26, 2024
It Seems that the overhang may finally be clearing, I think David is due another trip to Bolivia in the next few days, so hopefuly we should get some news next week.
Yes, once this overhang clears we,ll soon start ticking up, I dont think were far off.
Worst case senario, is that we dont achieve anything and all go down the swaney, Personally i'm pretty certain that will not happen, we have extremely good relationships with the Bolivians and YLB and have done for many, many years, and probably the only company out of the 25 selected that has. We were asked by them to submit our bid.
Best case, we win several contracts, recieve EU funding, (which I believe we will), and our patented extraction system is selected to be used by any other potential cotracts/companies, which we would take a percentage, of there market. in this case the sky really is the limit. SP could be anything 5p not impossible
La Paz, March 17, 2024 (UCI-YLB).- The executive president of the National Strategic Public Company of Bolivian Lithium Deposits (YLB), Karla Calderón, reported that the international call for the use of evaporitic resources in seven Bolivian salt flats entered the technical stage, after 25 companies were authorized to move to phase II. "We have concluded the first phase of the international call for the development of evaporitic resources (...) we have already entered the second phase, from there, the next phases are technical," he said in an interview with Bolivia TV.
Calderón explained that, initially, 38 international companies submitted their letters of expressions of interest, however, only 25 were authorized after the verification of compliance with 14 administrative and legal requirements, within the framework of the call. "This verification allows us to be sure that we are going to work with the most serious companies, legally speaking.
In the following days, the information exchange agreement will be signed to begin the second phase," he said. According to the call, in the second phase, the companies in the race will prepare proposals for their projects, after signing agreements for the exchange of information with YLB. "We are looking for the best technology to develop lithium and evaporitic resources projects (...) the companies will test their technology in the salt flats and it does not involve an investment from the State, then the prospecting of industrial plants will be carried out, under the sovereign model," he added.
The state-owned company launched an international call on January 26 with the aim of implementing pilot projects for the development of evaporitic resources in seven Bolivian salt flats: Coipasa, Uyuni, Pastos Grandes, Capina, Cañapa, Chiguana and Empexa, and to demonstrate the technological, economic and financial viability of industrial-scale plant
Yes, the shakles have been removed a bit, we should see alot more frequent news flow than we have of late, all very positive, IMO going to be a good few months ahead
