Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Jolly,
I certainly believe they have done the interview from Cameroon to lift the share price knowing full well what was coming with RNS. However I found it rather odd that they would be flying to Africa amongst a middle of the pandemic and anticipated some big news. Unfortunately the news wasn’t what we all wanted to hear. But behind the scenes i’m sure they will have meetings with IAMG face to face and possibly that’s what the real reason why the have travelled to “Cameroon” . But i believe IAMG have possibly misled the BOD and due to the pandemic we have not been able to keep a closer eye on the situation.
This could work well if we stick with them, as we will
Monitor the situation in a lot more In detail
And possibly be able to arrange a fast track drilling program, and also if we decide to take the licenses back if gives us the chance to strike a better JV deal elsewhere. I do not for one minute believe we could go alone and I’m sure Tim has pretty good contacts in around the area with history of striking Jv deals with Barricks for a couple of his previous companies. I still think he’s an advisor for barrricks also.
We are still under the original terms and conditions which the stratex management organised, and the BOD have always said it wasn't our best deal but had to honour the agreement. Whatever the outcome i’m sure it will be better organised than what’s happened previously.
I believe the full story will come out once they have resolved the issue.
But the question you need to ask is Why would IAMG want to carry further drills including a diamond core drill of a 1000m (which won’t be cheap) if the grades aren’t good. I believe that IAMG have been playing us and possibly trying to get the licenses on the cheap from ORR (handing out poor grades by scratching the surface) They also know that the board seem to be more interested in Cameroon.
The longer the wait is, this could well see the share
Price drop again unfortunately. GLA
Hi everyone had a really good reply off Tim after the disappointing news (what some people thought) and the share price drop. I emailed him over some of the issues we had regarding Senala and with IAMG.
To me this has put us in a bullish position as Senala has always been mentioned as a free ride so they know this is not ORR’s best asset but could be key to unlock the funding required at Cameroon.
He mentioned that the stock market had over reacted which has affected the share price and its out if their hands.
So these are the 3 options we ORR currently have for Senala
1. agree to roll over spend in to year 4
2. Oriole triggers breach of option agreement which IAMG have 30 days to resolve (pay the outstanding underspend as cash)
3.Oriole triggers breach of option agreement and IAMG decide they no longer wish to meet their commitments , which mean they walk away and we retain our original position , therefore we get back the full
Ownership of the licenses.
He reckons all 3 options are positive for ORR and are just auditing their spend , and will be sorted very soon.
With news of ORR financial due next week maybe the decision by the following week then won’t be long until we start getting cameroon results. So interesting few weeks lie ahead. Good for LTH
Hi MrP, this is my 1st proper investment and bought in at the spike, 1.55 is my average. Due to me being a novice and panicked incase i missed the sailing ship. And have been in the red ever since. Im not prepared to to sell and understand gold mining exploration companies are not something you can make quick money.
After doing a lot of research and hearing good things about GGP/EUA etc this share made me excited for what could happen.
Now i still believe this share will rocket up This year and could possibly see similar rise with so much news anticipated. All depending on good grades and the aiV agreement. However reading that ORR/IAMGOLD where due to have an annual meeting 2nd of March and seeing that report arrived without any updates Was just asking for advice of people with more experience to see if this was normal. But looking back 12months wasn’t it 12th of March when they released the RNS last year??
Hopefully end of March we will have a better picture when we start getting some assays through. Will look forward to it.

So came across this as i was re searching for
Some updates anywhere. Now Iamgold have released this to the investors on their website but no mention of ORR JV? Today was the annual Meeting date so was kind of expecting something to come out?? Should
iamgold of reported the JV in these updates?
Thanks Dogstar for the insight. And what does these
“ periodic Auction calls” mean??? Sorry for the all the questions intrigued to understand how the market works. Not had the chance to read the books you recommended yet. Thanks
So what do we make of this report? Doesn’t mention Oriole or Senala?

Hi MRP, thanks for your post and enjoy what you have to say. However this is my 1st investment and still coming to understand everything that goes on. If you say a buyout is possible, what does that mean to our shares?? Do we have to sell? How much of an increase is expected?? And finally what does that do to our long term investment? Worth sticking? Thanks again really enjoyed all your posts.
