RE: Global Market and Demand17 Jun 2025 13:05
Catch up Manlords new Pet (Pott), I was discussing this yesterday, and early last week.
Empire Metals' Pitfield project has a proposed Exploration Target of 26.4 to 32.2 billion tonnes at a grade of 4.5% to 5.5% titanium dioxide (TiO2). This target covers the Thomas and Cosgrove mineral prospects. A subset of this target, focusing on the near-surface weathered sandstone zone, is estimated to contain 4.0 to 4.9 billion tonnes with a grade range of 4.8 to 5.9% TiO2.
So thats a lot. But.....
Global titanium consumption in 2025 is expected to reach 8 million tonnes, according to Artikol. The primary driver for this demand is the paint and coatings industry, which accounts for 55% of the total consumption with 4.42 million tonnes. Other key sectors contributing to titanium demand include aerospace, chemical processing, and the marine industry.
So you can see, why its 150 years worth.
