The appraisal well is located approximately 3 km from the Lundin Norway operated Edvard Grieg platform and is the third well on the Rolvsnes oil discovery. The main objective was to confirm commercial rates from a horizontal well drilled in fractured and weathered basement reservoirs, similar to those currently producing in the northern area of the Edvard Grieg field.

The well was drilled horizontally in the reservoir interval and encountered 2,500 metres of fractured and weathered basement. Extensive data acquisition and sampling have been carried out in the reservoir, including a 10 day production test with production logging and bottom hole fluid sampling. A maximum constrained production rate of 7,000 bopd was achieved, while the 5 day main flow period was held at a production rate of 4,200 bopd. The test results show good reservoir productivity and connection to a significant oil volume that benefits from aquifer pressure support, which are positive factors towards demonstrating commercial recovery at Rolvsnes.

For me on the bell - all mine are in an ISA

horny - they have a policy of only reporting assay results above 1% as they feel the grades are sufficiently good that reports <1% would muddy the waters / in terms of reporting results.

They also are making it clear that the maiden resource estimate will cover (I believe) all the results which they record in their database. I note that BGS (ASX listed) have in their resource estimate a statement saying cutoff is 0% for that report and may be likewise for us.

All all seems to me nothing to get worked up about..

Just read article on BBC website Business section which bodes well for Horticultural Perlite demand in our part of the world. Part of it blew;

Corona beer owner Constellation Brands is set to pour some $4bn (£3.15bn) into Canada's top cannabis producer, Canopy Growth, in a deal marking the largest investment in the industry to-date.
Last year, Constellation injected $200m into Canopy in a deal to produce a non-alcoholic cannabis-based beverage.
The alcohol firm wants to capitalise on the growing legalisation of the drug.
On news of the deal, Canopy's Toronto-listed stock surged 30%, while on Wall Street, Constellation's fell 6%.
The two firms said the investment would allow Canopy to expand its business reach "in the nearly 30 countries pursuing a federally permissible medical cannabis programme".
Canopy, which has the largest legal cannabis production footprint in the world, currently produces cannabis-based oils and soft gel caps, among other products.

Would not be at all surprised if CSA had started the resource estimate some time ago. They can have done a lot of the background / baseline of the report and had access to all the results. Am sure at some level it will then be about 'plugging in' the drill results (based on grade / depth/ distance between holes) and a number will be churned out. So when the awaited drill results are in a quick job to add those and press the update button so to speak.
Also saw another good post (from jakers) on the Aussie site for BGS worth a read. Amongst other points it has info on efforts to rehabilitate railway lines from Dakar port so that would be a huge plus for us in the future.
Like GFD said it is hard too see too many downsides from here...

Hi Min, when you said the other side of the road thought you were referring to the 'main' area where most drills were done. Wonder what is going on, guess working on the bulk sample tests.

Not everyone here is in the doom and gloom camp. Some posters complaining of slow pace on this have obviously no clue how long mining projects take - so far we are flying along on CS Project and long may that last.

Ah well I actually bought 2M more just a little after 8a.m at .1975 so that seems to have been good timing...

Have started browsing BGS chat on HC due to the obvious relationship with them. Interesting post there with lots of tick ups from 'Nige456' who spoke to the Companies head man. They hoping for off take before year end and have plenty of interest. Also comment that their just under 100MT means they are just under tier1 status. A useful benchmark for us to compare with.

Also 15 months for mine construction conservative. Later posts talk of them looking at traditional debt from European banks. Mention their mine capacity allows for doubling of processing. If any tie up is going to happen with our lot then it will need to be soon.

It would not be beyond realms of possibility if they were engaged some time ago to start the assessment and potentially just have to plug in the assay numbers from the 'database' that was mentioned in recent presentation.
I believe we are waiting for some drill results and could get these any day now.

I listened to that Presentation yesterday and overall felt happy at the end of it. JORC (even without Boumou - forgive spelling if wrong) should raise the S.P and perhaps allow some of the more disgruntled here to exit if they wish.

I may not rush to buy more but this is very much a wait and see here now....

Rodster. A 2p sp means my current holding would be worth £340K, I hardly dare dream of that, it would be a decent pension pot in its own right!

I do understand your viewpoint though, as 9 plus years is a long time to hold a share. Am nowhere near that long yet!
I wonder when and what the next news will be here... mine plan should be a month or so away now.

Hey Min, just saw your post. Just to be 100% clear I did not buy this last week. I had got to 10M shares a little while ago then started increasing over last several weeks (I posted on it) but no purchase this week.

Couple of my other shares (TYM and HUR) not had best of times in back end of July so have decided to just sit and watch right now. Of course if we get a Pozz MOU then I expect to have to pay more than current .17p to increase my holdings further!
