One thing I have been thinking about for a wee while is the warrants which expire this December.
There are 250 million of them at around .24p. Not sure who has them (ex Beaufort?) but if PC was to get a wriggle on and get an offtake or two in the bag PDQ then perhaps they might be 'in the money' and we might get funds at that level. Yes dilutive but better at that level than down here....

My guess is that PC is sitting fairly smugly now in his Macclesfield base - the testing is done and now the nice part of negotiating the offtakes...... well at least that is my hope....

Just reminding all of the above research note which is still on our website so the Company must feel it has some value if only for comparison purposes.

Remember this is now 16 months out of date and there has been much progress since then including the successful phase 2 drilling (not to mention New Perl), 2 MOUs for Perlite, successful lab testing and also now the results from bulk sample testing for Perlite and Pozz where Companies indicate they want to continue working towards offtake deals. Add to that the improving markets for both products due ongoing Cannabis legalisation and likely close of the Navajo power station next year and the sale price for both products is improving.

Interesting to dissect the numbers suggested in the link then compare with the recent RNS where it would seem to me that the Company is hoping for sales that are quite a way (close to double I reckon if you project) ahead of the original expectation in this broker note. Also look at the risk factors in the Beaufort note that discounted their NPV and target SP. I believe many of these are no longer risks or at least the risk is greatly reduced like permitting (successful baseline studies), risk of having a sufficient market for products etc.

The document suggests we are 200 miles from LA and I believe we are similar to Reno where Nevada cement are located. It seems that Transport costs (this has always been my main concern) are manageable and there should be more than sufficient profit margin. My guess is that it is Nevada cement who did the bulk sample given the connections with our Pozz man who worked for them and is still associated with them.

Finally PC said we are hoping for contract mining so minimal Capital costs but we will need funds until the money starts coming in so I do think at least one raise is possible and no doubt some shares will be issued to the Directors in lieu of fees. We will see how much cash is in hand at year end (December I believe) and will have an idea then.

I still think the Company is run on a shoestring compared to others I am invested in.
I will be going to the next AGM this time...

So I feel he is being cautious with Q3 next year so might be Q2
Main thing for me was confirmation from RNS of Production numbers.
Perlite starting 20K tonnes and 'quickly' rising to 100K tonnes.
Pozz starting at 100K tonnes and rising to 500K.

Of course profit margin not known but for Pozz if we supply raw ore and did contract mining then would have to guess on min of $30 per tonne margin (complete guess of course).

Add the two together and we would be on a PE ratio of around 1 and a bit (at current MCAP) at commencement and a fraction of that if the higher numbers are hit !!

AIMHO of course....

Just sitting in bed and read through the RNS. This is a fantastic update and worth waiting for IMHO.

The testing was successful for Perlite and Pozz.
Those mining numbers are amazing and we can be very profitable.
We have willing buyers it seems and even more interested Companies are taking samples.
I have my own thoughts on minor 'possible 3 months slip to start of mining related to the warrants !
Oh and low Capital start up costs.
Any other thoughts folks?

For what it's worth. One of the reasons I re-invested here is because of NM.
If he was just ill then fine, just hope it is nothing serious.

Missing the presentation is no big deal IMHO.
The missed face to face meetings might have been important ones. I saw one of his interviews where he said these forums are the places he meets people who have the money to invest in projects. No doubt he can will hook up with these people via other means than face to face.

I guess most here want a big pay day sometime and to ensure that one of our interested Major's pays up the right amount Nick must be seen to have funding options so that SOLG are not reliant on their money for mine development...

Heyup Rodster. I email'd PC couple of months ago asking about Capital funding for mine plant etc. He said all options would be considered. Am hoping if we get an offtake agreement we might have some 'help' from that partner - after all we are using their kit for the bulk trial. Then a lot of the mining stuff can be done on a contract basis so we would not buy the items but pay per tonne.

Just reading on CEO.CA that Nick cancelled his slot and other meetings in Hong Kong for personal reasons.

As it is a bit cold outside and I don't want to start a tiling job I am putting off thought I would look at the newsflow we have had this calendar year for CS Project. I ignored all the Junction and admin related stuff.

22nd Jan - Pozz test results - reduces effect of concrete cancer. It was noted Ph2 drilling completed.

16th Feb - Phase 2 drill results - excellent news. We have product over a large area and at depth.

27th March - Phase 2 samples sent for testing. Contractor selected for field studies (for environmental permit), Tom Adams appointed to assist with Pozz marketing.

27th April - 1st Perlite offtake MOU

4th June - 2nd Perlite offtake MOU. Volumes for the MOUs exceed amounts in feas study.

4th July - Results of Pozz tests from Ph2 (good) and excellent Perlite test results (our Perlite tests good for Horitcultural use and other testing will now be done), baseline studies completed for permit. Reaching out to other possible Perlite Customers and having discussions with Customers for Pozz.

3rd Sept - Samples taken for Commercial trials.

We have had 7 CS Project update RNSs in 42 weeks so one update every 6 weeks on average and tomorrow it will be 7 weeks since last update.
I would suggest that from the 4th July (nice co-incidence as our Project was born in the USA) update onwards it has all been really good news. MOUs, positive marketing discussions for Pozz, progress to bulk testing.

Like all here hoping for news soon but it am happy if the updates take a bit longer so long as the news is good news.

All of us are disenchanted with the rubbish S.P. I choose not to blame Patrick for that and appreciate the progress that is being made here. After all what has my contribution been, I did a few clicks online and electronically handed over some money for shares. He is doing all the work, planning, negotiations and this is his field of expertise and I don't believe they are milking the Company remuneration wise.

Let's all hope this is the week we hear news and let's hope it is excellent news..

addic. Some were suggesting BHP could not bid for 2 years and I was pointing out the RNS shows under standstill they can make a 'friendly' bid as you put it so wanted to point that out. It would need to be a substantially good offer given NMs expectation of fair value for SOLG.

Guys did ya read it. BHP can bid for the Company if their offer is approved by the SOLG Board. It is in the RNS has nobody else read that?

I am a recent repurchaser here having sold a decent holding in single figures pence some time ago - ouch.

Surely the most significant statement in the RNS is that BHP can bid for us if the SOLG board first approve the offer price. How perfect is that.

Yes when I posted then rechecked I saw the LLI were in the earlier task as you say.
The correlation between items on slide 4 and the tasks in slide 6 are not 100% clear though.
The 'GWA Tie back' task includes bullet points for FPSO mods and WOSP tie-in and it therefore seems at least possible that some of that spend is in the nicely named 'debottlenecking' task which starts from Q3 2019 so there is a little bit of guesswork in when HUR have to start funding things.
