Two credit insurers have withdrawn cover for Kier's suppliers. The same move before Carillion collapsed. I don't think this business will collapse, though, but it's going to be very painful for a while.

A lot of lobbyists trying to hurt tobacco companies in the States.
I'm sure these business will diversify to cope with any new legislation thrown at them.

Buy the dips on both this and BATS.

I don't think Labour will get into power on their own. The Lib Dems and Labour may form a coalition, though, and hopefully the Lib Dems will have the majority.

I've been looking to buy into HL, maybe this is the time.

Contemplating buying more. SSE have warned about a tough year ahead, though, but that Div is juicy.

The share price continues to drop. The Woodford conflict has hurt HL. Everyone outside could see it was a disaster waiting to happen, everyone but HL it seems! Will wait before buying HL, I'm expecting it to drop further over the next few days.

The tobacco companies are working with the relevant authorities to make it a little more difficult for the user in America, for example, but there is a huge international market out there which isn't being interfered with by anti-smoking lobbyists. Anyway, the government isn't going to ban tobacco, it's a huge tax income for them.

As for volume drop-off, the price increase will cover it.

Waiting till it plateaus, then I'll buy a load more. It's becoming the FTSE bargain.

Posting good interim results. Share price has gone up around 17% this year. Worth a look.

I'd get stuck in and buy more at this price next week. Already topped up last week.
