From the way this share has been going for the past few days I assume there is an issue with the ramp up, they may need more money, a fundraise would put some pressure on these shares.

There have been some huge sells today, eager for the exit. They are going to miss out on this one, money in the bank and solid buybacks.

Any long term sufferers, I mean long term holders will tell you, this company works to its own timetable and it is a singularly frustrating experience.

A decent dividend payment would attract the income seekers.

Hope this doesn’t go below 100, purely for psychological reasons.

Funding Circle is now a delicious morsel that a private equity company will be desperate to get their hands on.

Struggling to get above and stay above 350. Good company, strong fundamentals.

Once again Mike Buck and Petro Matad are doing their silent running. I hope that something is going on in the background, it would be nice if they could let us know.

Deutsche Bank have trimmed their price target for Funding Circle with a new target price of 210. This still offers a significant buying opportunity, the share buybacks will continue to soak up the free shares. Sale of the US business is still ongoing and FlexiPay in the U.K. is offering a good service to small businesses, hopefully as the economy improves Funding Circle’s returns will improve. Maybe one of the start up banks will consider us as a takeover target offering a business finance opportunity.

Jadestone Energy has been given a buy rating in the Financial Times / Investors’ Chronicle. 60p target price.

Deutsche Bank has put a buy rating on Funding Circle with a target price of 250p

There has been major selling today, profit taking or issues with selling the US business?

There will be no oil production in 2024. Even if Petro Matad can get the required paper work signed today, they will struggle to get a rig for the pre production drilling, then the time to assess the holes and set up the equipment for production we will be into winter and everything will close down. Petro Matad will have to do a raise to keep the lights on, maybe 2025 will be the year it comes good. But don’t hold your breath, we have been down this road many times.

The offer undervalues Darktrace, there has been a major improvement in this company’s performance over the past year. Going forward Darktrace was on course to be Europe’s too cyber security company. The only thing that has held us back is the association with Mike Lynch, but that connection is reduced with every day he is in America and away from the company. I will hang onto my shares, an improved offer is required.

The conspiracy theorists are out. Claiming that management are keeping the price low so that they can load up on shares. The price is low because this is not a good company, for years I have waited for a re rate but it is just delay and delay. Management claimed that they had a good working knowledge of how Mongolia works, but they have been blindsided constantly.

Anyone thinking of investing, don’t. The drilling season has just started and Petro Matad lacks the paper work to take advantage of this.

They will have to do a fundraise as they have no income and this will mean more dilution. Then at some point maybe a consolidation.

Look on the bright side 2025 could be our year.

Kitwave results are out on Tuesday. A well run and managed company, that has shown nimbleness and strategic thinking to get through the recent down turn. This could turn into a takeover target.

Seven days to save the company which seems unlikely. Although COPL is still producing oil at a decent rate, where has the money gone? How have they managed to mismanage this company this badly? Someone will be able to pick up a decent asset at rock bottom prices.

The share price will drop, can they raise the money they need? Probably not. Can they get the diamonds? Probably not. Will the private investors get wiped out? Probably.
