IES can only be sold with a said majority shareholder approval if and when any bid were to materialise but unless some ridiculously incredible offer were to be made after a strategic partnership is announced, I just don’t see why majority shareholders would approve takeover given the tremendous potential ahead of IES but ‘nobody knows what tomorrow will bring’!
Nobody knows what will happen immediately after partnership news is announced or in the very short term but it is envisaged (and very much hoped!) that the sp will rise significantly. Depends on what debt/dilution company takes on offset against what the positive impact on future sales/revenues the strategic partner(s) will bring
Whilst I intend to invest substantially more in IES, I’ve been invested here since 2016 (previously RedT) and I’m hanging tight until I get clarification and visibility on how any new strategic partnerships will impact current shareholders. Got £22k invested in IES thiugh currently well down on that but I intend to purchase at least another £10k of shares once the news we’re waiting for lands. I said before that hopefully IES can become the ‘ARM’ of the energy storage world with a licensing model and that looks like how it’s shaping up 😁 GLA
Not quite there yet but looks like on track to announce 1 or multiple strategic partners including a Biggy very soon 😁 Historically and in their opinion, can anyone suggest what shape the investment from strategic partners (and subsequent dilution to existing investors?) will look like?
Disappointed no RNS release this week re strategic partners update but hope something is released next week as this is worse then watching paint dry!!!!!!! Just want a ‘blow it out of the water’ RNS so I can go all in on IES and we really see that pivot in the company’s position that we’re all waiting for. Been here 8 years so I guess I’ll just have to sit on my hands for another week or two but come on IES!!!!! GLA
Today is 6 weeks to the day that the last RNS suggested a further Strategic Partners update would be concluded but granted it was an estimated 4-6 weeks for this process to be concluded so I’m hopeful we get a big announcement this week and continued strong positivity RNS’s throughout the year - particularly gearing up to the commercial launch of Mistral.
Spanish Power is almost FREE due to record renewables set by the country with wind and solar so IES tech is a near guaranteed must for anywhere in the world with plenty of sun and wind for sustainable and efficient clean energy storage and longevity. Been invested since 2016 (and I’m not known for patience!!!) but really believe this is the year that IES will transform and the wider market will realise what it has to offer and just how important it will be in the clean energy transition globally. I sold out of frustration at 355 in January having made £10k to that point but bought back in at 460. My impatience meant I missed out on £4K but couldn’t sit on tte didrlibes watch it continue to rise which I’ve done too many times with other stocks!!!! Have to stop and think whenever you’re thinking of buying and selling and don’t do it on emotion!!!! Remember why you bought into a stock in the first place and unless that’s materialistically changed, should remain in it or add to it but that’s difficult sometimes when you’re already looking at a sizeable. GLA
Just topped up with another £2k. This is now my biggest single stock holding and only reason I’m not doubling my holding yet is I’m waiting to see whether or not a cash raise is required at some point this year. Either way at that point, I’m doubling up or down! GLA
there’s a chance to see an estimated sevenfold increase to more than 50 gigawatts in capacity connected to transmission networks by 2030, according to aurora energy research cited in this bloomberg news report. that’ll help store more power when it’s abundant, distribute it when it’s scarce and align governments with net-zero emissions goals.
europe is about to get a burst of activity in battery storage projects, with the uk, ireland and italy leading investment across the region.
the battery trend is accelerating in europe on the wake of the us inflation reduction act, which offers investment tax credits for domestic solar, battery and electric-vehicle factories. another example of the ramp-up is in australia, where utility-scale installations will more than double this year.
in europe, the uk is forecast to *****uple energy storage capacity by 2030. britain has added more large-scale capacity in 2022 than any other nation, according to the european association for storage of energy industry group.
“france, germany, poland are seeing what’s happening in the uk and saying, ‘great, batteries work,’” peter kavanagh, chief executive officer of harmony energy storage. “let’s embrace and change policy to enable them.”
At some point, I think all corporates & government departments around the world will scramble to ensure they have top level cyber security protection in place - bit like covid cycle as it got worse and worse, everyone then mass vaccinated. With ever increasing cyber attacks and instability in/threat to world order, it’s only a matter of time and I expect DT to receive a lot of calls for their solution! GLA
