It's amazing NO mention of PGM's.
I have now concluded that many analysts could not be bothered to do an in depth investigation

I don't know why we should be surprised at the authors knowledge,or rather lack of knowledge,as to what constitutes Jubilee Metals. I have heard it said many times that Jubilee is an exploration company,sometimes a junior miner but never the true situation that it is a HIGH TECH company that has acquired the knowledge to extract wealth out of waste. It suited me as I was able to acquire many shares cheaply. To this day I have NEVER heard the South African stockbrokers,who have appeared many times on SATV even mention the company let alone know why the company should one of their stock picks.

Hi Shiner I am not sure about Private Investors South Africa but I guess it does include all South African shareholders.It is a probable attempt to allow shareholders on the LSE to calculate the free float on that exchange. If you add some of the bigger holders (you can get them on simply wall street) that are not reflected since they do not hold 3% ,the free float is getting smaller and smaller which will eventually lead to a stronger long time shareholder base.

of those shown (top 11 )the total amounts to 71.09%. What a change in just over a year where initially we had almost no II

Mickie I believe the the best information we received to cause a rerate was in half yearly report where Colin's stated that Jubilee will be able to treat 250000 tons of chrome per month and Leon has been consistant in saying that the Jubilee goal is to treat 25000 tons of copper per annum
My calculation , if they get close to those goals is a profit of 140 Million Pounds after tax without taking in any other metals like cobalt and zinc so we have that to look forward too over the next 3 years

Firstly thank you Leon for the contents of the RNS .You have put my and many shareholders minds at ease.
I see WHI still give fair value at 21p but that is not my concern. What my concern is how they can justify their estimate of earnings in the current half year with the increased prices,extra chrome, and PGM's(my calculation) and a new income stream in copper and maybe some cobalt.As I have previously said I am willing to bet many JBL shares that I own that they are so wrong it is laughable.

Papaduke I also believe the paid brokers of JLP and JBL have done the company no favours.
The most interesting aspect of the article is that Simon Thompson has used WH Ireland figures which are in my opinion flawed, being far less then I have personally calculated especially notable being the low profits forecast in the present 6 months.
Time will tell but I would bet many of my JBL shares that I am right and WHIreland are wrong.
What pleases me the most is that Thompson has explained the reasons to wonderful future earnings we all expect JLP to make. The same figures, but the brokers note led to a fall in the share price,while the Simon Thompson article has caused a jump in the in the price.Why is Jubilee wasting money on paid brokers?

I can understand why the share price has not risen. We have had no news lately except a brokers note which I believe must be flawed, as the earnings given for the 6 month period we are now in, is hopefully very much understated.
With the massive increase in prices of all metals we are known to be producing,the first major injection of earnings from copper as well, as I calculate, the increased production of chrome and PGM's, the earnings on the WH Ireland's brokers note can only be justified by something very negative of which we are unaware.
In my opinion the absence of a RNS means NO negative factors have occurred, but I am sure a simple RNS ,stating the latest figures on Roan,copper in general,and PGM production would calm a lot of nerves.
There are times when an RNS is essential and I sincerely hope Leon and Colin will agree and issue one soon.

Gotreal Of course you are right and I believe the lack of reporting has shaken out those shareholders who have not done their own investigation,but have relied on people like you and me to tip the share, and in fact I have been a buyer at the low prices.There seems to be a disconnect at times between the prices on the LSE and the JSE and the drop in South Africa where there is little institutional support was approaching 20% (from a high of R3.65 to R3.06) which equals 3p not 1p.
I have the highest regard for Leon who I met while investigating the company and as you note am a long term holder.
However when I think something is wrong, I say so, and I certainly believe that the reporting by the company can be improved which ,if improved will work against me (No cheap shares) That is just who I am

Highly Geared when I went through WH Ireland brokers note, and noted their figures for the present half year,I became alarmed enough to send an email to Leon and a phone call to the South African office.I have to date received no reply which makes me question Leon's thanks to the PI's who kept Jubilee going when the company had no institutional help.
I believe their reporting is flawed and that fact needs to be brought up at the AGM.

Tiger I believe the % is 63% but I don't believe the shareholders should be that negative about the value of Tjate. After all Anglo Platinum and Impala Platinum both have mines each side of Tjate and I never heard any complaints about the difficulty of mining the ore body.In fact both did well out of their mines and there is talk of reviving the mining. I believe from that point of view Tjate is pretty well positioned.

I am always a little sorry for the private investors who have to rely on RNS updates to know what is going on.I m sure the institutional investors have the means to remain informed.I have put many friends into JLP and from the calls I am getting they are all very jittery with all sorts of crazy ideas as to why the share price is sinking.
I believe many will regret their action of selling but I do understand why they are nervous.
An RNS will I believe stop the selling.
Despite my advice not to sell , many have now sold and the price on the JSE has told the story.

SeisNav I believe you are wrong .Yes PGM's use depends on the automotive market to a very large extent BUT from what i have heard, and read, the use of electric vehicles will increase(not reduce) the need for more PGM,s and will also provide a greater need for copper. I understand that cobalt is a basic necessity for car batteries but I am not sure why PGM's and copper are VERY important for the electric automotive industry.
IF I am right I would be grateful if somebody with the necessary knowledge could explain why demand for PGM's is expected increase in the future.

Craig how can you say that the WH Ireland brokers note has nothing to do with the drop. It is the only information that we as shareholders have to go on and they have forecast a worse 6 months for January to June this year than the first 6 months July to December 2020 which in my opinion must be B..S.. as we have increased PM production as well as having made a decent profit from copper. for the first time and besides ALL metals we are producing has seen a jump in price.
It has all to do with the WH Ireland brokers note

I do believe that lack of news is effecting the share price and Leon's failure to reply to my email is worrying. While I have little doubt that we will all be rewarded with a far better share all the market knows at present is that WH Ireland to not expect a great half year if their brokers note is to be believed

I have not yet had a reply to my email to Leon in which I suggested that WH Ireland brokers note was incorrect in its calculation of profits for the year ended June 2021. I am now at least happy that Stockopedia have come to the conclusion that the brokers note was far too conservative and have given Jubilee a fair value of double the amount of 21p calculated by WH Ireland.
This should show, if they are right,and I believe they are, how incorrect the assumptions are in the brokers note.
Perhaps a brokers note from Shard could clear up the confusion.

Hard to believe is trading on the JSE at R3.59 The Equivalent price on the LSE should be 17.9p.
Either LSE must go up or JSE go down.I hope the South African shareholders are correct

If you check out the drop in % they sold just over 40 Million shares.The shareholding as per the Jubilee web site in respect of Quantock could not have been correct

The Jubilee Bar Chart still shows a 72% buy but down from 100%
