I NEVER called you a trader.If I say that is a traders rational HOW do you interpret that as calling you a trader. To be honest with you while the share is going nowhere I have no problem with a shareholder for instance buying at 14.5p and selling at 14.6p.
I am in South Africa and while keeping my LTH constant I do trade the share if some panic seller chooses to accept a price which I consider too LOW. After all, with my study of the share, I am entitled to make a profit, from someone who has bought the share on a tip and decides to sell at any price

Don't get too excited with the figures to be released for 2022 ,as I am sure that they will not be great for the year, with a bad first half year due to the shut down of Inyoni .
I always believed that 2023 was the year, where profits would show the true future potential of the company.
I believe we have to exercise patience for another 13 months to see a share price of over 20p unless some great deal is announced.

No one is talking about the copper price or PGM'S for that matter is because the drop while upsetting is understandable with all the talk of recession.I only consider LONG TERM prospects which remain on course.I have little doubt that prices of PGM'S and copper will recover over the coming months as the world finds out it needs the metals.You are only expressing a share traders fear which does not effect LTH

That makes no sense. An institution is obviously picking up millions of shares at 14.5p.
I think that is extremely fortunate as there appear to be many sellers around

sb on the ADVFN thread would like to know what was said when Leon was interviewed by Ryk van Niekerk for Moneyweb in South Africa.I do not post on the ADVFN thread but if anybody does please pass on to sb, and all who do not speak Afrikaans the gist of what was said.
Leon was asked to explain the Jubilee process which he did and all that was new he mentioned that in South Africa they WERE looking to erect a plant on the East Limb to process the ore.When asked about Gwen Mantashe (the minister of mines in SA who had given Sibanye a hard time) he mentioned he was not at all worried about South African mining regulations .
When questioned about Zambia which was a nightmare under the previous government,he said that the company had a good relationship with the Zambian authorities who were looking to improve on the previous relationships.
He also confirmed that the production of Cobalt would begin this month

This is my final post for Homey who has indicated that I am talking nonsense.
I am a chartered accountant,and I doubt very much that Homey is one.
The Basket prices to which he refers are close to mine but is only useful to calculate the eventual earnings Jubilee will make from PGM's by deducting cost of production from that basket price.I expect earnings to be in the region of $44 000 000 for the half year .
It appears to me that Homey has decided that the basket price is the only important factor,a rather stupid assumption.
Cost of production ,of which we are the lowest in the business, is perhaps the most important factor in Jubilee's favour.

I have taken my basket prices from company announcements and not used WH Ireland at all.
I have previously posted details of my spreadsheet regarding PGM prices but for your benefit will do so again.
Osmium and Iridium are ignored being too small but can only improve the overall basket.
The increase in the Platinum price is very significant since it forms the major % on both the West & East Limb
West Limb - Platinum 75% Palladium 16% Rhodium 7% Gold 2% Cost of production $560
East Limb - Platinum 66% Palladium 20% Rhodium 12%Gold 2% Cost of production including transport $ 825
Minimum production from Inyoni for the half year 22000 ounces (I expect production to be higher)
Use of ore West limb expected to produce 14750 ounces and East limb 7250 ounces.
I expect some production from Windsor although ignored in my calculation
Chrome profits should treble based on new production figures.
Zambia - While Roan is a disappointment I would expect copper profits to also treble while there is a hint that we will see cobalt profits for the first time.
All the above point to a great improvement on announced profits for first half year (not difficult) and I remain far more optimistic than all the pessimists on both boards.

I really tried to give Homey some slack but after his comments after the my platinum surge comment I have to come to the conclusion that he is an unrepentant pessimist or he does have a hidden agenda.
He is so far off the mark with his claims that PGM'S are 3% down as compared to May (Why May ?) that it is laughable .
Not only have we improved production by a massive increase in ounces as compared to the first half of the year but the prices received in $ terms are substantially higher the first six months AND with the latest strong dollar we are far better off in both ZAR and pound terms.If we can improve copper production with maybe a small amount of Cobalt thrown in the second half year profits could surprise to the upside
I am certainly more hopeful than the many pessimists posting on both boards.

Investors seem to have no interest in Jubilee at the moment. Do they even know that Jubilee is a big producer of platinum and will in time be big in both copper and cobalt.
I believe we will have to exercise patience for a while.
I hope the increased price of platinum will at the very least improve the profits of the second half yearly figures for 2022,which may be announced in July.

My 2p is estimate is before tax and HO costs so I suppose 1.7p profit

I believe both homey and you are both too pessimistic and I expect earnings for the year to be close to or even exceed 2p.
We have already seen the first half years earnings and as far as I read the disclosures of the company Inyoni operated at full tilt for this half year.You are also ignoring the increase from chrome revenues and whatever the situation is with Roan we will get better profits this half year out of Zambia.Also as I previously stated everybody is simply ignoring the funds from Slater received by the company when that Institution thought 16.03 p was a bargain price for the share (they certainly know the full plans for Zambia.)
I would rather agree with Slater than the pessimistic s posting on this thread.

Are you all forgetting that Jubilee raised a decent amount of money from Slater to assist with expansion of the copper/cobalt production in Zambia.Has that been taken into account with everybody discussing a new dilution.

While I agree with you why are so many distrustful.I believe it all stems from disclosures made (or not made ) by the company.Only those of us who have done our homework on the company are completely convinced that the company will enjoy massive success in the years ahead.
Jubilee is the front runner in an industry which will become as big as the mining industry is now, and WILL have many opportunities to expand which is why Jubilee has appointed a new chairman.
As non executive chairman I presume he will not receive a salary, and share options is a perfectly acceptable solution to the time he will spend helping to build the company.
In my years as an investor on the stock exchange,I have come to realize that the average investor only follows the herd and does not have the foresight to be successful.
Only time will tell if we have read the signs correctly.

I have no issue with the granting of share options to directors whose actions will after all be responsible for the future success of the company. It is always the bad timing and the failure to announce the options at the same time that his appointment was announced that irks me.
It would also be nice to consider shareholders some times and announce present production figures and let us in on future developments.
