I was/am at this moment in time but like many others who have carefully planned for retirement with private pensions and other sources of income it is very apparent that we are not how Labour want us to be and will be stripping back elements of our income. If they use the 2% element from the triple lock agreement for inflation for the next four years after this pension enhancement, then I can see where he is coming from. That is if the triple lock is used correctly and not fudged by you know who.

Then we also know that the cancelling of the winter fuel allowance will pay for all future pension increases and may even make a bit extra on the side to help pay for Labours subsidised meals at Parliament, can’t have them going begging for food can we.

Surely a proportion of the blame has to be shared with local planning authorities as well as the suppliers that must have known of the inherent dangers of the materials. They all must of been aware of the concerns beforehand. Just because something wasn’t in place by legislation doesn’t make it morally right to ignore the known issues. We all know the real reason this happened and it is cost. The cheapest quote won the day and it cost lives.

It sounds like the concerns were already known but that doesn’t make the government of the day totally responsible.

Something in the back of my mind seem to think ‘affordable’ could be about a 20% discount. If that is the case you can see why the builders are not happy.

Then there is the case of how will this impact general house prices and what caveats are there about re selling a discounted home which would then be valued at full price.

Well Starmer so busy putting innocent people in jail he seems to have missed out on his promise to reduce boat people crossing to here. These are the two highest months this year.
