Americans killed off the TSR2 as well. Our government didn’t have a clue we had some fully built and flying and others nearing completion. Government of the day ordered everything to be scrapped and more importantly all the jigs destroyed.

Like to explain how NI will make a fortune by goods coming from the ROI and then straight on to the US. We have a zero tariff arrangement with the EU since 2021, so curious as to how this fortune will be made.

Well that won’t last long as DT will slap a 20% tariff on the UK within days. EU trying to fudge a situation and compromises the UK yet again.

Remember they didn’t join us in both WW’s voluntarily, in fact they made it very clear they were not going to get involved. They only joined us when they were attacked as a neutral country.

We seem to make affordable JLR cars for export to the US at the rate of 38,000 a year while we import/sell 50,000 Tesla cars a year here. Spot the imbalance? If charge Tesla a 25% tariff it can offset the JLR tariff in the other direction.

Starmer should be looking at the large US multinationals like Apple and Amazon to restructure how they should be paying the correct amounts of tax in the UK and not letting them use Luxembourg as an example to avoid tax evasion. Also if Jaguar are hit with a tariff then he should reciprocate with the same tax on Tesla or build them here.

DT needs to understand that the new rules can also apply to others the same way.
