I see it differently, with Christianity and our country we have religion and law as two separate entities. With Islam, law and religion are entwined as one and this is where there is a major difference.

Labour did not do its own analysis of the cost of the biggest reorganisation of councils in England for decades.

Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner said "a significant amount of money" could be saved by merging councils in 21 areas into single authorities.

Rayner's department, the ministry of local government, based its cost estimates on a 2020 report commissioned by the County Council Network (CCN) that said £2.9bn could be saved over five years.

But the CCN has since revised its analysis and now says the reorganisation could make no savings and actually cost money in some scenarios.

You can’t make it up, the adults are running the country are they? Another ‘co ck up’ and more money wasted. At this rate the black hole will be 75B next year, at least we can account for it now. Our five year old grandson can run his monthly allowance better than Rayner can. At least they have one thing in common, they don’t have any qualification’s for anything.

To be honest I can’t share your views on robber Reeves. She has that nasty grin on her face when she knows she is going to screw us oldies over but when the going gets tough the water works come into play, nope, she deserves everything she gets. Truss may have made a mess of things short term but Reeves will have done more lasting damage over the last year which will take even longer to sort out if major changes are not put in place. She certainly has taken the number one spot for being useless now. I give her until the end of the year at the latest before she is gone.

As for Starmer, yes, totally ineffectual to do the job in hand, has no control and lost all sense of direction. Not listening to the people of the country due to his ignorant stance on migration has lost him the next election already. The rest of his muppets split on decision making and they think they are the adults running the country, hurry up the next four years.

Exp - there hasn’t been a special divi for years and I am not expecting one to be offered in the near future. It will possibly attract attention from reeves the thief who will see it as Lloyds is a suitable cash cow to steal from, but then it will do it anyway.

Exp - use enough to reduce shares to 50B in circulation, continue a progressive dividend increase each year and share price should sit around £1+

To understand how migrants that become members of our society truly appreciate what this government has done for them, it will be interesting to see how many will be willing to don a military uniform and fight any invader to our shores knowing that they may have to sacrifice there life and how many would refuse. This would be a true test of giving back.

You do put two and two together and get five a lot. Personally I may infer to Reform without actually mentioning them, but it doesn’t mean I support them. At the moment I shall be looking to see how the next four years pan out before I decide on where I vote.

You seem to think that anyone that mentions Reform automatically supports them, you need to cut back on assumptions, not good for your health.

Four years is a fair amount of time to fine tune some policies.

Tell us what the Lib Dem’s future proposals look like so we can see how credible they are.

I invested for the long term dividend rise which is performing well each year. As part of our portfolio It pays for our holidays and currently we are in St Moritz about to find somewhere for a drink. Happy days but possibly not for much longer with Reeves the thief.

Two words that I hate must in replies like above, ‘if’ and ‘could’. In reality it means it isn’t going to happen.

I can see if some smaller communities pulled together to have solar panels and even a wind turbine with battery support they could be reasonably self sufficient. Reduced realistic electric pricing to include maintenance and upgrades for the future.

That’s fine, but people need the funds to finance early retirement and if you are going to rob them of these funds by reduced lump sums and weak tax on property, then that makes it much harder to do. You can’t have your cake and eat it.

Your mate Reeves can’t see this as she is blind to it. A lot of people here have planned for early retirement like myself but I now feel I am in the cross hairs to revisit our bucket list of things to do.
