Down 4p now, anyone told STP?

I haven’t seen any posts on the current status of Lloyds SP this morning, have I missed them?

Anyway we are down 3p today people.

I don’t have a problem if this actually happens and that the data centres pay the actual rate that come here to supply them. Then let our own renewable energy be reserved solely for UK homes and other businesses.

I know it will be a two tier system but why not.

Yes. Because we will need lots more to feed all the AI centres that the UK is building. It will also mean a lot less energy for homes in the future.

Government looking to give £50M to those using heating oil for increased costs. 1.6M are potentially eligible to claim. So they get about £30 each. Might be enough for a few days oil, not what I call a big deal.

Just PR to boost a flagging image.

Grand idea but the reality is not the same. As it stands now local planners will be rubber stamping AI data centres before homes and the energy they need will be diverted from ‘US’ the ordinary people to keep them running. We will need a lot more green energy than we thought a few years ago.

The reason why AI data centres are taking priority is that they are seen as creating growth and jobs.

Trouble - I have no allegiance to any party at the moment, there isn’t one that inspires me to support them, a sad reflection on this countries governance.

Yes, 1945 showed the human side to nuclear fallout and that in itself has acted as a deterrent, and just to confirm, how many have been used since then?
