George Frangeskides, Exec-Chair at Alba Mineral Resources, discusses grades at the Clogau Gold Mine. Watch the full video here.
It's been a year since I started warning of what was to come. Those who believed in what i said are satisfied today. Those who claimed me as a liar could now bear responsibility for their words.
The priest speaks to the congregation and desperately tries to awaken the charm by repeating the same lies over and over again. Doubt has arisen in the disciples; could the truth be a scam?
I already told you people in August what is going on and had happened, but my words were allegedly false. Now the soil is beginning to appear more favorable and there are several doubting Thomas in this column as well.
Markku avoids talking about trauma, even though the results should have been in his hands long time ago. Doesn't any of you wonder about this?! In addition, Markku repeats the same bex statistics over and over again; 10 studies of which 5 were subsequently selected to demonstrate efficacy. I know that he has been laughed at in a prestigious society for that 50/50 data and there are no longer many places where he is taken seriously in Europe. So it's time to move to the USA. God bless You all and God bless America!
These results, now presented, are a complete disaster for Faron. Everyone understands that, except maybe a small group of investors from whom they can once again raise more money. If you want to show the effectiveness of Bex honestly why not include results for 7 other types of cancer?! This is completely dishonest to present the results in this way.
You give a glass of water to 100 cancer patients and then you find that only 27% of those aged 60-90 are alive after 6 months, while 83% of those aged 30-60 are alive after 6 months. We then look at what these 30-60 year olds have in common and find that they all have blue eyes. Heureka! Is anyone still wondering why Karvonen left?! Again, todayâs announcement shows that some of the results have been deliberately omitted (now only three types of cancer) to get the desired outcome. Datamining I say.

Cult leaders typically make tantalizing promises â "either to change the world, change you, make you rich, make you beautiful,"
Dracula - Iâve told in the previous chain why I invest in the industry and also in Faron - Iâm not starting to repeat it. If you only want to invest in âproblem-freeâ drug development companies, the playing field ends immediately. Markku has not stepped on my toes, but it would be healthy if the starting point is not a blue-eyed attitude to everything that is told to the investor. Stop crying and open your eyes.
HMRBrit - Nice to have a expert from the industry here! Do you want to open up it a little bit more about your work?
In these small drug development companies, a few of the same phenomenon are constantly repeated. One such phenomenon is that they get very loyal small investors around them. These small investors often finance a company when others do not. They also can be a tool if you want the shareprice up for a while. Small investors are also often ready to take unreasonable risks in relation to their total assets. I believe there are several such privat investor also on this chat as well. Markku, as an experienced player in the field, knows all this, and thats way I am very annoyed especially by his speeches of the last month. Itâs quite clear that he was hyping up small shareholders to get shareprice up - he missed the peek whit a few week. And this is done when it is very likely that we have faced a major setback (my own opinion) and it would be honest to open it up. The development of the share price says that I am not alone whit the opinion, although CEO repeats 10 times how significant a breakthrough it is.
This loyalty phenomenon involves a very critical attitude towards those who begin to express doubts and criticisms. There should be "waterproof" evidence if suspicion is raised. Again, positive news can be brought up based on a smile or wink, and no one asks for evidence. This phenomenom is always the same, not only a Faron thing.
HMRBrit; I like the industry and it fascinates me - it has big odds on offer and a loss of everything. I have invested my entire investment career in drug development. I have seen a few successes and many failures. There is also another interesting phenomenon around the industry; an almost religious resemblance to the passionate attitude of investors in defending their company and its leaders. This is common, interesting, and a little scary. All of this fascinates me, thatâs why I follow the industry extensively - also Faron.
I find it remarkable that so few internalize what is the business idea of ??a small drug development company. It is not primarily drug development for market. Even less drug sales. The business idea of ??a small development company is to develop a drug for licensing. I'm not really interested if bex will enter the market. But I wonder if the company will succeed in licensing. I was sure Faron would do it last summer. I think Markku was sure of that too. Now it did not go so and the future is fully open. In my experience, the possibilities are still there but they are really small. Is it time to go on? I dont know. But do not fall in love whit a shear, it will be probably more expensive than divorce.
Disappointing yes but supprice, no. The last days is again new proof that things are not going as planned. And there is no licensing in sight. Since the summer, CEO has been panicking and glowing the results so anyone who looking at things a little objectively will realize that everything is not in order. Now it would be honest to say what, in the available results, prevents a sensible agreement now? What is the reason? Only naive believes that a small drug development company wants to enter phase 3 alone. And CEO does his best to keep up that believe.
âWe whants to licencing with everyoneâ
âNext week I will fly to the statesâ
âI think there is a need fore extra webinarium next week because the results are so significantâ
I wonder if someone could wake up Markku??
Ouch, that hurt:) In May, Markku said pressure was rising and the time for licensing was getting closer. Now that pressure seems to be gone and Markku "knows" that now is not the time for licensing. But it seems that the pressure is starting to rise fore those who necessarily wants to find positive news even when there isânt any :)
There is only one ssv and its unit of measurement is money. Money can be generated for an investor in two ways; by a dividend or an increase in the value of a share. If you confidently state that now you are facing ssv and then have to explain later that you meant something else than money you are in the same explanation porridge as we have heard about the research results and licensing matter.
Whats going on??? Markku conquers the world with his (second hand) molecules that are so remarkable that he can not make a deal with any single BP now but will do it with EVERYONE. But not now, but LATER. Too bad it's only on this chat we know about this, the stock drops completely unnecessarily.
Dracula with respect, what's your agenda? Faron will either be successful or not. Nothing you or I or any other regular SH can do about it. When you know that Pharma is a very risky investment, why do you just want to highlight positive things? Are you not worried that the over-positive writing that you contribute to gives a completely wrong picture of the situation at the company? Why does the stock price fall every day if you (and the others who positively interpret every wink and smile the CEO makes) are so obviously right that anyone who questions it is being accused of having a dirty agenda?
You understand how easy it would be to start religious sects just by following the small pharmaceutical companies' discussion forums. Scary!
I donât use the term âdata miningâ because I try not to swear at church:) But it looks like this Haematokine is also based on a good old VAP-1 molecule that was that previous team Jalkanen world conquest molecule 20 years ago. Of course, itâs a coincidence that it ends up in a new round for Faron. Have I seen this move before?!

My question would be (but I will be out tomorrow so I hope someone else can ask this) : "Now presented results, where from 10 patients group are selected afterwards the 5 most successful groups, How well can these kind of data be used to predict the efficacy of a drug or is it at all useful in probability calculations?"
It would be really interesting to hear what Markku answers!
Sir-Terzio: Good reflections from you. And when these % counts we also have to remember that Bex was given for a total of 10 types of cancer. From these, these 5 are then selected afterwards. So its from that afterwards selected data you/we can calculate the probabilities. What if all 10 are taken into account, the result is even worse.
That research was designed to be done this way so itâs OK, I do not blame Faron for that. But the next step is much more difficult. Then you have to choose in advance what to study and how to show the effect. It cannot be selected afterwards, as has now been done for those Printouts. In addition, a placebo group will probably join as well. As we know, the placebo group almost always perform better than not treated. This must be calculated and predicted by all. It has also been done by big pharma and we know the end result.
LimestOne: If you didnât know thatâs exactly what drug development is all about (calculating). Once a medicine has been shown to have enough evidence of its effectiveness and safety, it will enter the market. Before that, all you can do is calculate and predict. Faroâs situation seems worrying as the power does not convince the big pharma companies at the moment and therefore there is no sensible deal on offer. Deal in P1 or P2 is not is not uncommon as long as the data is in order.
