Maybe there is something in the works that will “send this to the moon”. But the massively most likely scenario is that the Chinese are delaying things. We’ll know soon enough.

For at least the last 5 AGMs we've had an operational update or presentation the week running up to the AGM. I expect no different this time, so tomorrow or Wednesday. Then we can have the round of I Told You So.

As said before, even if it's negative, i.e. no signature and therefore still no revenue, they'll dress it up as positive. But if there really isn't the signature, that is awful news. Of course, if we do have the signature and revenue, I'll be delighted, if a little concerned as to how MB thought that wasn't RNS worthy news.

Hard to argue last week wasn't P&D. But let's see if it was a leak instead. Because it certainly wasn't a case that we suddenly had 100+ new investors decide MATD is the place to be on zero official news!

Disagree. It was a 50% move but the SP had fallen ~70% prior to this. MB would be mad to put out a speeding ticket... the SP would probably crash back to even lower than where it started!

I don't think the refinery is that imminent. The last presentation we had gave its ETA as 2027 and even MB said in the Q&A this is likely to slip. But best case, it's still 1yr+ away, i.e. we haven't got time to wait for it.

But we've always been sat on this sea of oil. No, this was either a leak (very possible as MATD is absolutely leaky) OR it was manipulation to bring the traders into play. Which I think is what happened... we had some unusual block buying, it took us up to around 1.7-1.8p, then we had it flash up on the radar of all the traders at 2pm, and we saw it accelerate rapidly. Now we are seeing those traders bailing out and realising we didn't have foundations to support 2p+.

The AGM might lay such foundations. Or it might not...

StockMaiden - I get we've been scarred by the past with MATD, and I'm a negative nell with the best of them. But you really are ranting and repeating. Maybe take a break until the AGM.

Not huge volume but enough small sell trades (probably from amateur speculators who got caught up in the hype last week and bailing out) that this will likely drift lower until the AGM. Then it's over to MB...

Certainly normal service resumed as far as trading volumes go.

Probably 9 months ago now I said that I’d only be convinced, and the market too, once actual $$$ had hit our bank account. AFAWK that still hasn’t happened.

Master - AGMs are not typically the time or place you announce you’re being bought out. I’d be very surprised.

The most plausible reason for no RNS is that PC and the apparently god-level echelons this agreement needs to go to for sign off, is simply suffering further delays. But MB will absolutely spin it in a positive way… he has to.

As ever, I’d be delighted if it’s a 10p buyout. But I seriously doubt it. And I do find it funny that we’ve had the uber rampers (not including you in that list, master) banging on about how many billions we’re going to make, but are now saying we’ll sell out for a fraction of such figures.

No red dot. A signed agreement with PC is absolutely RNS’able. It’s also an agreement with a third party where you can’t control leaks. That we haven’t had an RNS says to me we still don’t have an agreement signed. That will not be good if that’s the case come Thursday and the AGM.

Although rumour has it PC installed a dozen wells outside the fence of Heron! 😜

Been out all day so not read anything since around 9am. Amazed to see close to 100 posts on a Sunday. Anyway, interestingly, not one uptick to the above. So not many, if any, think we have PC’s signature. Which will not be good news when the ops update and AGM arrive later this week.
