how does a suspension prevent another buyer making an offer?
The last Rns was explicit about who we were talking to and what they do, on balance of probability Citic would represent an Asian buyer if not Chinese...as much as I understand the strategic asset of MT for Russia, the Chinese are on a different level to Russia in terms of real financial muscle.

Where do you get your time frames from, again you are making statements that are unsupported, you don't know when WHI tendered their resignation, also Remember WHI approved the RNS, i don't see them doing us any favours if they are leaving ,so no need for them to sign off on the comments re handover assistance or the time frame if they believe them to be materially untrue. I imagine they will have agreed a program with the new Nomad for said handover for them to have mentioned it in the RNS. They couldn't put that in the RNS otherwise.Thursday is the day that WHI finish and it will be from Thursday/Friday that the new Nomad contract starts, which is when they will be obliged to issue an RNS. As for they have not found a replacement what does the RNS say, again you are making statements that are not supported by evidence. Just your opinion.
Delay is after Thursday, not before.... seems to me you are choosing to deliberately ignore the entire RNS for some reason.

How do you know that's not taking place as we speak and we wont get an RNS on Thursday stating its all done? Saying they have 3 days for the handover when they maybe already be a significant amount of time in to it. You make statements as if they are facts when you have no facts and are speculating, if we were not suspended it could be damaging to other shareholders.

There seems to be a welling of optimism that this week will bring the news we have all hoped for, i just hope the Nomad issue gets put to bed. We have no control over the flanks and licence approvals time frames so it would seem optimistic to suppose that we have that official news and are sitting on it so we can announce it with a bang at the unveiling of the new nomad. I'd love to be wrong though, suspension and lockdown is a tall order whilst watching the pharma stocks rocket!! Still i'm in better shape mentally than the knob cheese who keeps popping up on sunday night to vomit his brain cell up. To some he was saying i hope you lose all your money and to others you're all right, good luck hope you make a few quid, on the same stock at the same time.......Punters is living rent free in his head throwing raves.

I if we announce a new Nomad why will we come back to market, Nomad issues were not why were suspended. We could get a new Nomad both sets of licence approvals and remain suspended unless we have news re the banks......that's how I understand it.

Amers, there are several who clearly despised him, have a look through today's thread from this morning at those posting about LSE board rules.... he may have posted a lot but it was reasoned and positive and he stood up for his investment and the company against those who clearly want to see the company fail and generally are here solely to antagonise because of defective personality traits.

Seagull, some very interesting points there, as i understand it under AIM rules we can be suspended whilst we are in negotiations and its very possible that the company may have asked for the suspension once the tweet came out so that accumulation at levels far lower than any deal price was effectively stopped, as you suggest. Some view the suspension as a punishment for the company's actions but it was not the company that issued the tweet. We may get Nomad news, and flanks approval news and still remain suspended because of the negotiations. Does anyone know if im right regarding negotiations and suspension or have i read the rules wrong?

I understand your concerns re not having a Nomad but your point that a company sacking a Nomad has one lined up already, but it could be argued that may be the case already with the advanced stage negotiations mentioned in the RNS......all speculation of course. Thanks for the reply.

is the loan facility a resigning matter for a Nomad? It doesn't seem a big enough issue and they ought to have picked it up themselves in DD.

It would be handy if it was 2020, but hey ho. I think there is enough evidence out there to suggest that the Nomad arms of lots of brokers are loss making and these need to be closed down, seems a reasonable assumption where WHI have announced serious financial problems that this is the reason for resignation. I dont know how Nomad contracts work so i don't know if any MT sale would be a big payday for WHI or not. That would seem to be an important question to throw some light on the reason for resignation. The loan facility was before their time, so doesn't seem enough to resign on. of itself.
