What's Calvin Klein got to do with it?

Strip out Joe Public for a minute and look at all public bodies and servants.. utility companies.. large critical employers etc. All of these orgs have the means to distribute and test their staff and collate data. What's the combined capacity of the RTC? Is it such a stretch to start testing this way and telling people you can still transmit inadvertently through lack of basic hygiene measures etc??

The UK Rtc was set up to provide the government with tests at high volume so I don't see why we are not being informed what those numbers are. The company raised money on the back of that business opportunity. I don't believe thst at this stage those numbers are not known.

so where are these tests headed? Care homes, doctors surgeries? Are ODX reliant on CIGA to sell products or are ODX able to do this function independently? The presentation says clearly the RTC test can be sold overseas once the government have had their share but why have we had no professional use orders confirmed when clearly they are being taken?

There has been more than enough time for all elements of contractual negotiations to have been conducted, once approvals are in there is no need to delay orders, at this stage having one test that does what it says would be a big step forward in getting some sort of handle on this situation.

you know well that the GOV have not done 3millilon antibody tests of any sort but will be able to very soon with UKRTC antibody test.

Merchantbanker, did you really mean before antibody tests in your comment??

If you can identify those with antibodies and couple that with some basic common sense risk parameters like age, ethnicity, BMI then you can quickly see how you could manage a vaccination programme.
MHRA approval now just silly.
I hope ODX have been manufacturing anyway....

The MMs really know how to rinse this.

Someone said here that they emailed CK and he returned no MHRA approval yet and no orders yet. i wonder if they are manufacturing anyway, to stockpile the test. If the gov wants to announce the test, I imagine the full 500k capacity would be needed with a few million tests in hand to meet initial demand.
