I agree with you, but what's the true state of play with the RTC? ODX said 100,000 tests a week this month 200,000 next month...
have we made 100,000 tests? What about the combined output of the RTC? What figure is that? Since the test was CE marked how many have been manufactured? Are we really saying that no manufacturing has taken place? That would be criminal if so. The point is it serves no purpose waiting and im astonished no MHRA approval as yet, to my mind that should be their no 1 priority and the process pushed as hard as it could possibly be. I would have thought the MHRA should have been working with the Ulster university trial to make sure issues were being identified at the earliest opportunity.
As for roll out its not that hard to identify groupings of people with large management structures in place to start testing on a large scale.
NHS, police forces, armed services, county councils, large private companies like the supermarkets etc. We all have an NHS number. The testing in this country has been a shambles, they finally get a world class test and its still on the shelves.
Utterly appalling.
