the arrangement with the RTC, would this account for the lack of an RNS from ODX?

They can tweet away to their hearts content but the facts are no orders have been RNSd and I think after all the talk and projections any order for the RTC test that came in should have been RNSd. Its price sensitive information. Its a big concern. Another presentation next week with the caveat no price sensitive information being revealed. Most on here believe that to mean an RNS before that date but that's their wishful thinking because if their isn't one then this will slide and start to look very suspicious. Bojo on TV last night and nothing.
If professional use orders are not significant for the test will we get any work through the RTC? I want to be wrong but it doesn't feel right.

I agree with you, but what's the true state of play with the RTC? ODX said 100,000 tests a week this month 200,000 next month...
have we made 100,000 tests? What about the combined output of the RTC? What figure is that? Since the test was CE marked how many have been manufactured? Are we really saying that no manufacturing has taken place? That would be criminal if so. The point is it serves no purpose waiting and im astonished no MHRA approval as yet, to my mind that should be their no 1 priority and the process pushed as hard as it could possibly be. I would have thought the MHRA should have been working with the Ulster university trial to make sure issues were being identified at the earliest opportunity.

As for roll out its not that hard to identify groupings of people with large management structures in place to start testing on a large scale.
NHS, police forces, armed services, county councils, large private companies like the supermarkets etc. We all have an NHS number. The testing in this country has been a shambles, they finally get a world class test and its still on the shelves.

I am aware that the RTC test is first class yet we have no confirmation its being used anywhere, now I could understand if its being stockpiled for a big roll out but by whom? The NHS? SERCO? to coincide with an app that wont have enough users to be truly meaningful that may take another month or however long to be truly functional? I don't trust the politicians or the management of of government institutions.

It means we are being left behind while we await whatever BS bureaucracy takes its course, its called fiddling while Rome burns.

that's fair enough for Sainsbury's because you know at what level they are at and roughly where they are going to be. However ODX are in the process of ramping up capacity after a fund raise including PI money based on future opportunities. We are told that the RTC test is world leading in its performance and yet we have had no indication that any orders have been made either from government or private sales. The test is CE marked and yet no confirmation that we have any orders here. MHRA approval we are still waiting for but its not nailed on and lets be honest, Governments can and do change direction at a moments notice. Now we seem to be talking about Antigen tests but that's still months away realistically. So all the ramping up of production costs money as do the new staff, without orders now we could run out of money and require another placing. So until an order confirmation comes in (and the idea that a significant order would not be RNSd is utterly laughable and well you know it) many are nervous.

The company has cash because of the fund raise, but never under estimate what a bunch of slippery ***** governments can be and they can and will dump on Omega and the RTC if they change their minds. That's my first hand direct experience when dealing with government. We need confirmation of orders and nothing else is really relevant.

why no RNS to confirm these orders, these are price sensitive pieces of information at this stage.

I got an email from Walbrook stating that orders were part of normal trading activity and we would get an update mid October, looks like its been brought forward because of increasing frustration at the lack of confirmed orders. I don't believe after all the hype that any significant order on any front would not be RNSd by the company, to pretend otherwise is BS in my opinion.

It's clear that home use for the test is on the cards but the SP won't shift. You can't blame people for not trusting the government. I've been shafted several times by government policy reversals over the years. It's cost me a lot of money. Even when a product as good as the Rtc test exists you can't truly have confidence in the outcome. Sad state of affairs.
