BHP will probably be ok with the merger as its easier to buy or JV the whole lot. Not sure on this deal but it is structured with some buy back so perhaps its a hint of things to come. Importantly it allows SOLG time.
Looks good to me
I'm struggling with the special resolution for a possible large dilution. My problem with it is that I've no idea what it's for and whether it's just the keep the lights on or for something more value added. To include must mean they intend to use it.
So say there is a large dilution next year... then probably the same again the following year then in order to stand still our mcap needs to effectively double or triple. So basically I have to trust this board to deliver mcap growth which they're currently not doing. Again the positive side is something is going on in the background and all will be OK when we have a pfs. But by delaying this they'll have to raise at a much lower level than I think they should have which doesn't impress me.
So for the first time in a long time I'm proper worried about solg... not the stuff in the ground but how it's being run. They massively need to improve communications now.

Thanks cjen for taking the trouble to raise these questions and all who help input into them. Fully backing them all.
I was always expecting a raise and dilution... its part of the game of explorers. However I'm not happy how this one has been done basically letting in mates on the cheap and it all seems a bit last minute.
I've not invested in EUZ for its ability to develop other assets. Its toral or nothing for me. I can't remember the total but is it like 46m they've spent developing toral to date? I might have that wrong but its not a successful blueprint for other assets. I can live with the raise being for Toral and expanding the current licensed area but we've not had that communicated.
I've voted against all resolutions this am, not that it'll stop it but I'm hoping there is a sizable minority that makes a noise so in future we're considered by the board and communication has to improve. Comments of value events followed by a whacking dilution is not what I expect of a professional company.
EUZ have a very important year ahead and the board need to raise their game.

Not sure... its a question I'd like answering as I use iweb.
And then there's the added complication on how they're treated in sipps, isas etc. Also for cgt calculations how do value these new free delisted shares on disposal?
Iweb seems to have gone down 10 mins before market opening
Seems a great deal for both! Lithium sorted and now opportunity to start up the gold company.
I was thinking that those selling could be linked to shares issued... like the drilling company for example?
If so as soon as they're soaked up by the market I'm expecting a good price rise. Just need more volume.
I really want to see fresh blood on the register rather than just allowing existing holders to get their hands on more shares at a discount. The blocking shares on L2 are a bit suspicious.
But at least we're funded for a good while so the company has to deliver more value on PFS and regionals. If the mcap at least doubles on that lot then I'm not going to worry
Having owned PREM till last week I can say I'm much happier with a resource located in Europe Vs Zim!
EU are looking so source as much minerals within the EU as possible so EUZ are in the right place at the right time IMO. You can't underestimate the importance of local support for projects and this one has bucket loads.
Still lots to do for the end game (whatever that maybe) but with this crazy low mcap there's plenty of room for some upwards movement.

I dont think there is anything new in those comments. Cgp have openly wanted a sale since day 1 and they won't cooperate unless it's a sale as that's in their best interest.
Have to remember he's talking from a cgp view and not solg.... so his prize could be very different for solg. Even a fire sale is in is in best interests of cgp to keep them going... but is not in solgs interest.
I'm going to watch how cgp behave over the next 6 months or so. If they become cooperative then I suspect a sale is coming.... if they become hostile then an alternative outcome is more likely. If solg is sold outright then it's messy but no idea where that leaves cgp.
Well let's hope the book build is more successful this time around
