Gaslighting in the extreme!

An analysis of the Lloyds share price would keep us all better informed rather than summing up the state of the country after 14 years of Tory chaos & mismanagement - but you can’t acknowledge that simple fact.

This board is full of political comics - here’s another one. A blue plaque has been erected at Walthamstow Tesco to honour the lettuce that outlasted the totally delusional Liz Truss - what a hoot!

Even some diehard Tories will find that one amusing as Truss simply won’t go away - unless Donald Trump calls her to help sink his re-election bid in the States - ha ha!

Love the was some are fixating on Labour Party freebies - do you remember when the last lot gave away £4 Billion of tax payers money in donations to their Tory donors during the covid free for all - sense of proportion please.

Surely the repeal of the Free Speech Act is to serve as a deterrent against hate speech from either the Far Left or Far Right groups aiming to platform their extremist views on young minds.

Would it be acceptable for those non factual Extremists to target schools and sixth form colleges if 16 & 17 year olds are allowed to vote?

The level of abuse which our politicians on all sides endured during the election should not be tolerated - hurling abuse and peddling lies in the name of Free Speech is surely not acceptable anywhere.

I appreciate this is a Lloyds board but very seldom is the LBG discussed now more a discussion group for disgruntled snowflakes fearful of their rights to start culture wars being eroded.

And YES I amongst many others did vote for them - take a look at the Lloyds share price over 60 pence, reasons to be cheerful.

Had to laugh! Rees-Mogg claims the low turnout was due to tory voters staying at home. Most will probably have a postal vote to avoid queuing & providing suitable ID to cast their vote - a ploy designed surely to lower the voter turnout that Rees-Mogg is referring to.

Interest rates at 5.25% - First Time Buyers will be jumping for joy!

One wonders what they would be sitting at without the Truss and Kwarteng mini disaster. It will take along time before rates fall back to 2.25% which is where they were before mortage lenders destroyed the dreams of many trying to buy their first home.

It's all very well reminiscing about past tory glories, however that will not help to increase Lloyds share price or any other share for that matter.

Hopefully this year we will see a new Chancellor with new policies as outlined yesterday when Rachel Reeves addressed the UK business community desperate for stability after years of tory turmoil.

Here's to looking forward to a prosperous 2024 and beyond.

None other than Tory PM Liz Truss - short memory eh?

At least one business leader gets the message - Richard Walker, Chairman of Iceland blames years of Tory chaos for the current state of the UK economy.

Such a shame that more people can't see this.

Isn't it strange when the share price is historically low we buy causiously as we think the share price has further to fall, then when it starts rising we want it to fall back again so we can buy more to either average down or to buy in at a lower entry price.

My average is around £15, I've reinvested past dividends and any extra spare cash into Persimmon over the past few years but I feel I should only be investing wisely if I'm lowering my overall average share price, rightly or wrongly who knows?
