Only just managed it within the 7 days!. As you say possibly some consolidation back to 1050 or so (somehow don't think it will fall that far though), then back to test Dec high 1150. SDY now expect year end to exceed expectations which bodes well for A plant (hopefully). Good US non farm numbers and Mrs May hopefully setting her store out with some further initiatives for the UK house building sector will finally see AHT back onto its "normal" uptrend cycle (I hope!). Yep no Vigilant still, hope he/she is ok. DD

shareminator You posted without knowing who was claiming what against whom, you have no knowledge of the history between GDP and Rand, yet you posted inflammatory and yes libellous statements: "Accusing your partner of 'skimming off the top'", you did not post a retraction about this when challenged, all you did was admit that you didn't know who was in dispute with whom. You then posted that GDL have acted inappropriately, again without any facts to support that statement. Think you should take up another hobby. DD

Have no issue with anybody posting views, but accusations of illegal practices without knowing as you say "no more than the next man", is out of order...........not that you would have any other reasons for making such a remark, particularly as your not invested here, run a business of your own, and only do this for a "hobby"!.

the_shareminator Your "skimming off the top" comment, can you elaborate please as you clearly know more than most. It's a contractual dispute about costs invoiced, end of. It isn't good news but it's resolvable and not as disastrous as you make out, are you invested here?. Thanks DD

BBD, No expert but was in a similar position a few years back. My take is so long as you have reinvested (in shares) your profit, within the time (thought it was more than 30 days, 3 months?), then as you say it's null and void and starts again with the new investment. Oh to have that dilemma! Lol DD

Based on year end underlying eps of 35.5p, the PE is about 7.5. Still ridiculous but SPD aren't the only ones that are possibly oversold. Do a search for stocks with 7 & 7 (PE & Yield) and you'd be surprised. Curious as to why you thing the PE could fall to 2 (assumed the 0.1 was a joke). Guess it depends on what you think 2017 earnings will be (25p, 30p, ?), but if in this region can't see the sp falling to 60p!.....MA will take it private way before that. Yes I know what was in the prelims but it clearly included the word "current", so next week, next month, who knows!. DD

Isengard Bought in on 7th June then got stopped out on 27th. Prior to Brexit was sure they could make 42p eps, now who knows, so will keep watching. Underlying profit after tax (the very bottom line once you take into account FX contracts, etc) was £210m, down 8.7% compared to last year. DD

Only £275m underlying pre tax profit, expectations were for £292m. A 8.7% reduction in eps to 35.5p. Their outlook statement is as expected - uncertain due to Brexit but more headwinds. A 10% drop in sterling against the Euro will result in a fair value loss of £65m. Since Brexit the £ has fallen about 10%. Surprised though that they did manage to hit £381m underlying EBITDA, also on the positive side, they are considering a share buyback (rather than a dividend!). Difficult to value this at the moment, it's anybody's guess what earnings are likely to be for 2017. DD

JPT My only concern here is how much are they going to be below £380m underlying EBITDA. So it's difficult to truly judge if the market has indeed missed a trick. Earnings could still be circa 37p but they will be ex growth and a PE of 15 is possibly too rich, 10 would still give a 30% discount but the impact of falling sterling has yet to be factored into their future profits......that's why I would prefer to wait a while now before buying again. Cannot believe the had no exchange rate hedging in place tbh. Good luck. DD

My thoughts as well, along with people refurbishing their conservatories. Not sure if they actually supply new builds though?, don't think they do. DD

Don't think with quadruple earnings growth a forecast PE of 67 falling to 45 in 2017 is by any means too expensive. Especially if silver keeps rising, once it breaks and holds above 20.5 then 30+ is possible. That said talk of QE is also helping and a pullback is likely, but as they say, the trend is your friend.........until it ends!, so FRES is and will continue to be my bestest mate for a good while longer!. Isengard hope your right for those invested but feel the market hasn't missed a thing, H1 is always stronger than H2 and the market is going by the guidance and info given by the Company after H1, in particular the RNS's on the 23rd March and 24th June..........underlying EBITDA was pre Brexit going to be about £380m (5% less now IMV). Will find out soon enough. DD

Each to their own. Given that 14% of revenue is still in the UK then "slight" pullbacks in sympathy with construction/house builders/commercial property market etc, is a small price to pay IMV. Once all the usual safe havens are full to overflowing then AHT will come to the fore. All IMO, DYOR, blah blah blah. DD

This article suggests a pre tax profit of £292m (down from £300m last year). Credit Suisse have just reiterated what they said in March, shouldn't take any notice, it was only 4 months or so prior to their downgrade that they were calling this outperform with a TP of 1300. Along with DB they clearly have their own agenda here. The market and the sp movement is telling a completely different story IMV. DD
