Excellent results and a positive outlook post Brexit. The only slight negative is that NAV/share has reduced 5%. DD

JPT Had quickly worked out (345 X 1.23 H2 to H1 average weighting) + 345 = 769m pre tax, £600m underlying profit after tax. Thus underlying basic eps 195p. Noted that dlook has pre tax forecast of £720m and eps of 184p, split the difference say 190p @ PE 13 (5 year average), sp target 2470. It's apparently better though to measure the true value for housebuilders by using price to NAV, so will be interesting to see what this is tomorrow, also hopefully some positive signs in customer activity post Brexit. Viking1 No offence intended, didn't presume to think that you were not aware of the "in-line" statement just odd though that if you were then why post the statement that "There will be a profit warning".......any reason for posting that?. They have already stated that they will include in the interims an update on the strategic review so I disagree that it will trade sideways for a while. From last weeks press there has been talk of a dividend cut (no surprise) and looking ahead to the company's strategic review on 26 August, Canaccord said: "We highlight a checklist of actions that investors should expect to read in the review: exit poorly performing sites, continue to develop the brand portfolio, reposition Frankie & Benny's, reduce and re-direct capex, improve digital marketing capability, reduce the overheads, review returns to shareholders including share buybacks." So, will see how many of these points are addressed on Friday and that IMV will determine the sp movement, not sideways though!. Good luck though in whatever you do. DD

Don't think so Wressmycase, if 3% or more has been acquired, then a holdings RNS has to be issued within a specified time (think it's 3 days but not certain). Wonder if the 20million buy at 0.025 is our 0.0249 buyer and trying to be less conspicuous now the FCA my be keeping an eye on things?. DD

Viking1 there will be NO profit warning, from the RNS 12th Aug: "The business continues to trade in line with previous guidance." That's why the sp rocketed, wasn't just because of the new CEO. They are likely to cut the dividend though. DD

A bit more selling again, of particular note is the 200k at 5.35. The RR issue is my main short term concern and the longer there is no news the more the sp will drift down IMV. Still waiting for year end, but that could be as late as Nov/Dec, news also due on the earn-In/LOI for Anumso (would have expected an update last week, next week at the latest), and an update on the TSF (which seems to be dragging on as well). Bought at £3.90, sold half and banked the profit, what was left owes me nothing and has doubled, so not too bad (not chuffing 44p though!). May top slice again but tbh regret doing it the first time. More likely to just hold on and see, there may be some profit taking but this still has a long way to go to get back into its rising channel. GL DD

They did mention 3D mapping in the Dec 15 RNS, so as Eric says, why state they were doing something and then not update on it - basically because that's all this BoD have ever done, say their doing this and that but don't deliver on anything. Wressmycase - As Coli said, wind your neck in a bit. If you make some money here fair play but don't start dissing those that have been less fortunate (the LTH's). DD

Hello dubious, Main difference more recently between AHT and URI's share price movement is that AHT are touching all time highs whereas URI despite getting close to 52w highs is still 50% below its all time high. Their growth was hit hard due to the O&G sector both in US and Canada. Who knows this week, possibly some buying prior to ex div on the 11th, or as you say some profit taking. GL DD

Thanks dubious. They normally have swap agreements in place to mitigate the impact of interest rate changes (increases), whilst this was not the case for the last financial year it may not be the case going forwards. Besides, the US interest rate has only gone from zero to 0.5% in the last eight years so do not see it as a major issue, as posted previously even a full 1% increase is only a fairly minimal reduction in their profit. Think the Times guy was missing the fact that the U.K. is doing the opposite and reducing interest rates which strengthens US dollar (as per today). Each 1% change in the US dollar exchange rate increases pre-tax profit by £6m to £8m. Thus far since Brexit that would equate to about +£60m to +£80m extra pre-tax profit - US interest rate hikes and AHT debt pale into insignificance in terms of its relative impact to AHT's bottom line IMV, or at worst, it's balanced off by weakening sterling post Brexit. Let's see what US non farm payroll numbers look like tomorrow and the likely increase in sp!. DD ps strange to see the share buyback today, thought it may have been capped at a maximum price of £11
