RDW results no surprises and very good, BKG reservations still very slow and still 20% down but cancellations normal and three year forecast pbt of £2bn still on track - how though?, if reservations stay at these levels and for the first year pbt was only £0.5bn, annualised they are not going to hit their forecast. A lot can change in two years I suppose. Think / hope the market reacts to the positives from RDW, be interesting though to see how it reacts to BKG. GL DD

JPT Be rude not too!. Should be all good news, apart that is from BKG, but if their cancellations have increased greater than expected.......then who knows. That said they are not a barometer, more an outlier IMO, of the majority of other uk house builders. GL DD

The luxury homebuilder halted construction at the £20m Barnes Village project in southwest London but declined to provide a reason, Reuters reported. Local residents said the homes had been expected to sell for about £5m each. While it was not unusual for builders to wait for optimal market conditions before starting work it was rare for them to stop in the middle of it, Peel Hunt analyst Clyde Lewis told the newswire. "The London market has got a bit tougher post-Brexit [...] The value end of London is still selling OK but more expensive stuff is selling slow," Lewis said. DD

Wow an investment manager, congratulations!!. In point of fact it was me that posted BKG is highly likely to get demoted, its actually in 113 spot, there are 12 FTSE250 companies above it and as you probably already know (as a professional IM) below 110 it will fall into the 250. Personally wouldn't touch BKG as too London-biased, but each to their own I suppose. GL DD
