Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Well the next couple of months are going to be interesting, one way or the other.
Hopefully it all works out well.
I get that people aren't happy with the current share price, I'm one of them, but I don't see how being negative about the management helps at this point, the wheels are already in motion and results are very close. In my opinion it would be better to analyse after the results rather than before, presuming we get that far.
Bubs...
A quote from Dr Kelly of Croda/Sederma from Elrics update on 29th December:
In-vitro and ex-vivo studies have been completed, setting the stage for the culmination of clinical (in-vivo) trials in early 2024. These trials promise to validate the efficacy of SkinBiotix™ and its supplementary applications.
Also from SA in RNS from 30th November:
"The study is expected to be completed and results reported by the end of Q1 2024"
As well as...
"Next year should also see the early results from other studies, including the consumer study around an acne product, as well as results from our oral and inflammation programmes with Manchester University."
Surely the reason the share price is so low is mostly down to the loan. 'Death Spiral' doesn't have a great ring to it. I think people are waiting to see how things play out.
Croda and several other pieces of major news due to drop in the next couple of months. Things could change quickly.
It makes me wonder why they didn't wait until after the Croda news to pursue the acquisition.
The market hasn't responded well to today's news.
A lot needs to happen by the end of the quarter, but hopefully it will.
I can see the new 'purchase' releasing several new products over the coming months, probably updating the formula of their existing products too. This could be good given the existing supply chains and customer base.
There are definitely synergies, but it depends how much these can generate. I guess time will tell.
Also I'm curious what the next target company will specialise in? Hopefully we find out more tomorrow.
'Exploring in-human studies to further validate potential additional claims'
This line from the RNS is as vague as usual but I think it could be important. Sorry if anyone else has highlighted it already.
The way I read it is that there are definitely additional claims, otherwise they wouldn't need to validate them.
If they are doing actual in-human studies then that may explain the delay in releasing a product, I'd also like to think that they wouldn't bother to do these studies unless it was something significant.
That's if they are actually doing studies and not just 'exploring' them.
Things that are supposedly in the pipe line....
Croda deal
Acquisition
France/Italy launch
Acne product test
Oral product development
Multinational deal
All of them maybe this year, if indeed they happen, and we're very lucky.
I'm not sure there is going to be much of a launch for any of the Europe releases as it may just be a sweetener for the 'multinational deal'.
I googled 'axisbiotix spain' and got the following link about 6th one down.
https://axisbiotix.com/en-im/pages/food-supplement-sleep-better
This page gives me the option to change country, with the following options:
Ireland
Isle of Man
Spain
Portugal
United Kingdom
And United States
Selecting Spain changed the shop prices to Euros, that's as far as I took it.
Belgrano, I agree with you regarding Q1, it was a very misleading statement, one that could not be made by accident in my opinion.
Elrico, why get March out of the way? Are we due news in April?
I'd be more than happy if we heard something this month!
I get there are other irons in the fire but I thought the recent promotions might have had a bit of an impact.
I can understand the rest of the world taking a back seat but I thought we still wanted to push the uk sales?
Toyin, it's probably 2nd half of the year, this from the 15th Dec RNS....
"The product development timing is controlled by Croda, however the Directors believe that the product launch will occur in 2023 and thus the Directors expect some initial royalties revenues from Croda to commence in 2023."
If the influencers were any good would you need the npf's help? From what I could see the ones we had had a lot fewer than the claimed 2 million followers.
Also large order from yesterday is on today's trades, seems odd as it was from 2pm, I'm guessing it was a Buy.
Toyin I admire your optimism but I believe we will need every penny of the raise for running costs for the next 12-18 months, especially if we have another study to run.
So we'll probably got diluted again next year. Presuming the due diligence doesn't throw up anything else that's been missed from our financials.
Order number 4051 is actually 3051 sales, they started at 1000.
How do you even begin to put a price on the Croda deal? Surely it depends how much of the lysate they plan to use, and then how do you price it? Do we get upfront payments and how much are the milestone payments worth? I'm genuinely interested to see what happens.
If anyone has some insights or comparable cases I'd love to hear them.
Two trades for 156k at 2pm, and all of the trades after 4pm add up to 156k, somebody likes that number nearly as much as they like shares in this company.
Now is probably a good time to accumulate if you believe we will get good news from Croda.
Did anyone else notice that most of the trades today were for 10k shares a time? Seems like someone is hoovering up a nice chunk.
Should we start a sweepstake for when we think the skin cream is coming out? I'm getting bored of waiting!
