Hi aandi, yes on all questions about Ozarks lol I was just teasing Arnie as it's obvious he likes to wind everyone up regardless of whether he is intentionally trying to cause investors to dump, and another bonus is you can learn about money laundering in a roundanout way in case we get that rich lol

Another one Arnie :-) Not sure if you mean myself in the 3 minute comment but business and market intelligence/research are part of my skill set - I used to have mere days to study an industry and advise my clients on various areas. I have bookmarked and saved considerable files on each investment I have my money in :-)

Now turning to our exploration portfolio. The latest drilling results continue to expand the gold-copper mineralization at the Havieron Project located 45 kilometers east of Telfer. I refer you to our recently released drill results and I think you'll share our enthusiasm. In fact, these results have encouraged us to increase our FY 2020 exploration expenditure guidance range by $25 million. We plan to drill an additional 20,000 to 30,000 meters in the second half of the year to support the potential delivery of a resource by the end of calendar year 2020. Finding gold is hard and rare, so to get these kinds of drilling results is really exciting.

Watching an episode of Ozarks Arnie but very quickly recall one encouraging statement from Sandeep.

Finally, our exploration results in the first half were very pleasing. We announced some very promising exploration results from Havieron located near our Telfer mine in Western Australia. These results extend the mineral footprint and signal the very real potential for renewal of our asset portfolio in the Paterson Province. The grades we're seeing at Havieron are unique for this region and we're excited to progress in the accelerator evaluation of this opportunity.

I'm with Mercedesman on this. I've spent the majority of my corporate (learnt my trade in one of the largest tech companies in the world) and entrepreneurial career dealing with and advising senior managers, business owners and dealing with board members. I spend a lot of time considering the leadership teams while conducting my due diligence as a good company can be ruined by a bad leader and a bad company turned around by a good leader. G and C seem to be the former and have a great team around them.

Again I really think we shouldn't worry about what we can't control, If Beetham is genuinely concerned and checking with a law firm it benefits all of us should a bad scenario occur..... If he is talking codswallop .......then so what?

It certainly won't affect me in any way if he sells or purchases more. I've decided on my strategy and of course, I can't prove it but I have only increased my holding over time as I did more research and reflected on the results and data to hand. Personally I'm in a fortunate position financially where I don't need to trade this or other shares to increase my holding ........but I have no hard feelings to any who are - making your way to financial security is an arduous and wretched path and not black and white for those of us who did it from humble beginnings and weren't born into wealth.

Boards to me are about sounding off ideas, debating strategies and a bit of banter..........one thing I do know is something is brewing when you start getting this kind of 'action' and its usually the kind where a smart investor can make serious money :-))

I just can't see NM shafting GGP so badly that they ruin a chance of further partnerships either within WA or other jurisdictions, they'll become the last choice for any explorers with other world-class projects, the mining sector is not my area of expertise - do Newcrest have a track record suggesting this?

My life strategy is to never worry about what I can't control - in this case, what SB will do with his 160m shares or trying to ascertain how honest he is being. He might genuinely be worried about a hostile takeover hence his post or - he may not - we have no way of knowing so why waste energy over it?

Those of us intending to hold will end up with the same result regardless of what he does in the short term or long term. I do agree with his advice to hold but feel its up to everyone and their individual circumstances whether they hold till Hav plays out or not, some may need the funds before for various reasons and good luck to them too, me, I'm happy to hold and play this out to what I feel will be an amazing outcome and looking more certain with every completed stage/phase etc etc.

Playing GGP a bad hand would be an extremely bad long-term business move for Newcrest I feel as it would make other explorers hesitate to partner up with them in future knowing full well they may end up being cheated out of fair value. I've been the co-founder and MD of a company in a close-knit and niche industry where how we treated our suppliers and partners mattered a great deal in how we were perceived and this affected both our negotiating power and our ability to win new business as we dealt with HEI's and government-funded organisations. Having a good reputation was paramount.......

Both Greatland and Newcrest seem to have level headed, astute and intelligent senior management teams, I am very certain of a positive outcome for us and the potential for a long term partnership approach with the other licenses between GGP and NM.

JR was also on PFP for about a week or so, I told him I remembered him and asked him if he was still in GGP but he said not as he felt that he would get a quicker return 'here', but then he moved on pretty sharpish after a retrace from a spike........either chasing the 'big one' and gets impatient or a trader I guess - seems to be in AVCT now looking him up.........
