I can't complain too much having bought into Dev in Jan so seeing a very healthy profit despite the pandemic. Perhaps too many rainbow chasers (covid stocks etc) and newer investors on furlough due to the pandemic making the markets even more unpredictable during the last few months I think guys? I'm just sticking to my policy of buying into companies with solid products and potential growth and being patient as VR and EdTech are seriously promising markets. Hasn't failed me over the years and I see Dev having plenty of upside in the next few years if not bought out at some point.

I'm pretty sure GH used the word 'hopefully' in his statement about more news in the last proactive interview so I've assumed he is hoping for news as oppose to definitively promising some? Maybe he meant something unexpected from Newcrest or perhaps something in regard to his plans for Scally if x and y comes together etc. etc. or divestment of one of the other assets comes through if they are negotiating in the background and near closing.
Perhaps that's why some have been frustrated this week when the promotion into FTSE AIM 100 and video update from Paddy on Monday didn't move us up towards 15p etc.....I'm not expecting any updates for sure until 23rd July from NCM (late evening 22nd for us in UK I presume) and anything before will be an unexpected bonus - so am happy to just chill out and wait as the last interim results really have set me at ease as has the pace of work by NCM :-))

Now now Safe, we already put the myth about lemmings to bed - let's not see you get your immeasurable wealth from APC get wiped out by a defamation case from the Lemmings Lives Matter society!

Hi QF, From another perspective, it might be regarded as if you feel you were late to the party with GGP so taking a gamble on the others having their own GGP type multibagger potential, more so than worried about diversifying your portfolio?
It's important to be honest with yourself when making investment decisions, I'm not saying its what I think you're doing but just make sure you're being honest with yourself as you did say you have a nervous disposition and also allowed emotions to rule you with GGP :-)

Well, plenty of other countries inc. us have taken other countries resources in the past but I agree there is too much political tension with China, in fact globally at the minute and they also have heightened domestic issues too presently.

I use it too to view a quick daily approximate summary of my individual portfolio's and it does jump around once in a blue moon due to auctions as Lauren suggested mate - just ignore it or perhaps go for the middle or lower price depending on how many it's jumping about with - same for me today ;-)

It's hard as we had the surge to 8p a while back, but patience should be rewarded - we're extremely stable despite the seller :-)

Its easy to skew comments in RNS's, investor presentations etc. to fit one's own expectations - we all do it. It's also easy to over analyse every single word way too much and jump to conclusions. Further results and the MRE will help firm up the potential and see what we're playing with here - as always - patience :-)
