I am assuming Bill's been invited as a guest to their regular webinar program to talk about UFO as oppose to having planned it himself to break any meaningful new progress, hope I'm wrong but think it is important to be level headed about these things, don't get me wrong -I would love to be wrong and as Max says we may gain meaningful insight from some of his updates :-)

Hi Yo - what is important is being confident your chosen exponential growth based stocks are well placed to make the journey from small fry to either having a future as a mainstay in their sector or the potential for being targeted for a takeover with a nice pay off for the investors - certainly applies here I think :-)
We have some serious investors who have faith in the future here DVR, Chris Akers etc. , a partnership with lenovo for a global rollout and our sales director who came onboard last year moved over from having worked at Lenovo as their Education Bus. Devt. manager and must have seen real potential with Dev to leave and might be more to it too?
Then look at the how the partnership with Veative has evolved to where we are buying out a subsidiary and we know we have another material contract coming up in Q3/Q4, which I suspect will involve the combined skills of Dev and Veative - just conjecture again as above.
Also look closely at the individuals in the Business Advisory and Intelligence Group we have formed..........that will also lead to a lot of exposure, influence and business opportunities in the Education sector, as well as giving Dev a massive amount of insight into tapping into the real not perceived needs of our target audiences.
DYOR as always and I do understand you're frustrated but plenty of potential here - I feel we're at the beginning still.

11 months isn't a long time in this sector Wolfy, it is why I avoided the sector when younger as I knew I wouldn't have the patience, I'd suggest studying the Lassonde Curve if not familiar.
You either get in early and pay a lot less to build a stake with explorers but there is more risk and you'll have to be willing to think in terms of months and years or buy in further along when for instance there are astounding results confirmed but you'll be paying a lot more and be owning a lot less shares to balance the lowered risk and being further along the development timeline. Even then, patience is required when you look into all the money and resource required in both proving up economically viable opportunities and then developing through to production if not bought out by a major.
What balances all this need for patience is the extremely high gains that can be made when you get it right - if you can stomach the risk and frustration of being patient.

Anyone who has owned and/or managed a business that experiences phenomenal growth knows that it gets challenging in terms of capital requirements to provide the services/products such as manpower as the contracts get signed off. It gets stressful balancing the capital requirements, constantly onboarding and training staff, rehashing supplier contracts to cope with the extra bandwidth and ensuring you can support both old and new clients.
I am happy Dev are ensuring they have the funding in place as they grow. Businesses can actually fail through a lack of control when growing so quickly if not fiscally responsible and very organised. Still 8 months to year end and plenty of time for the share price to hit even the more optimistic targets - focus on the fundamentals would be my advice :-)

Who cares if Max owns shares Chris? He certainly saves many of us a lot of time in collating info and IMO has some interesting insight and analysis - therefore is a positive addition to the board.
Your argument works both ways - why are you so present here when no longer owning shares - rhetorical as I don't care really - you don't add value so easily ignored by me. I own a decent amount fo shares here but don't particularly want to share the amount either and I don't care if someone only owns 1000 shares as that might be a lot of money to them and therefore makes their investment of great importance to their financial wellbeing.
You don't have to agree with anyone's calcs but free to post your own if you feel his are overblown etc. Explorers are high risk/high gain and projects take a long time to come to fruition so probably best for many here to rein in expectations in the very short term horizons and focus on a more long tern horizon.

I was just winding Safe up Rodster, might as well entertain ourselves while we wait for news but like you/many here been in that scenario myself and very stressful - so I can see why some are angry :-)
I saw Sam posting last Friday morning on a goldie I own calling out someone disrupting on RMM and did wonder if he's thinking there will be time to come back after banking profits elsewhere - good luck to him as he has put a lot of his faith and money in PC and always been very helpful to new people coming onboard.
Still optimistic about the CS project, the 'production by spring' was a bad call by PC regardless of unexpected covid delays and perhaps inexperience in negotiation explains it. I think had he stated a more well considered timeframe he'd be getting less flack. Bare minimum I do think by year end we'll have a clear idea of which way we're heading even if deals haven't been finalised.

And good strategy with less attention to the price which often proves torturous when holding explorers long term due to volatility, I just have my alerts set to trigger on sharp movements up or down and focus on research and news.

Safe, If you really don't feel he can pull the CS project off then why risk owning nearly 30m shares here as been plenty of chances to offload - but you seem to have traded instead , unless I have it wrong mate?
I'd make a decision to either play this ou, sell out or reduce your holding so you feel less exposed if I had reached your level of exasperation.
Unless you're still planning a hostile takeover with FSHXX lol

If no new news to accompany the webinar - Bill's primary objective might be looking to use the webinar to attract new investors?
Not everything is aimed at existing investors when it comes to these kind of activities - and those considering UFO from scratch will be interested in understanding the existing projects.
I totally get the frustration but impatience is a big enemy with investing, good to see PM prices are seeing a nice bump up :-)

Logic doesn't always apply short term in that stocks don't always respond to news as they should, in fact if you ask me they rarely ever do :-)
The mid and long term outlook here remains excellent. I'm happy to continue to just wait through any consolidation periods until the next leg up - there is a lot going on now and I expect more positive developments prior to the NDA given the increasingly closer relationship with Veative especially.

@jack - too early to say I think given that Hav is continuing to surprise and we have plenty of action to look forward too with the Juri and scally programs.
Let's see how things play out over the next 6 months would be my advice before coming to too many definite assumptions mate. Not enough data to create an accurate hypothesis.
Shaun and the team IMO seem to be set on GGP being onboard when NCM bring Hav into production and their plans for GGP encapsulate far more than just selling Hav or they would have kept Gervaise as CEO till year end. Gervaise himself mentioned a key event in an interview that was transformational for GGP, perhaps the Juri JV is part of a deal with NCM to continue on as production partners with Hav?
Personally I think there are way too many chess moves to play out an what is in essence a 3d board before we see the end game here.

Its so important to learn to not get too excited or despondent on price action if you are holding for the long term and truly invested in fundamentals. I certainly watched GGP like a hawk in the first half of 2020 due to having just invested a great deal of money, still learning about this sector and the lockdown trapping us all in our homes - plus the stage we/NCM were at where I wasn't yet sure if we had a normal or extraordinary discovery. By summer 2020, i was feeling the pressure was off and I could relax as it was becoming obvious GGP had beat the Junior Explorer odds.
I think that regardless of the share price drama even the least geologically informed amongst us are aware we have something very very special in Hav and Newcrest are going to take it to production. And the timing may be near perfect if PM and copper prices reflect popular opinions of increasing greatly in future.
And as a bonus, I feel we have just as decent a chance at another discovery as anyone else currently in the same region.

Just conjecture as a private investor but perhaps the planned new material contract highlighted in the last trading statement by Dev might be a joint venture between between Dev and Veative utilising both of their areas of expertise.
My last post alluding to this was removed so ensuring my wording is clear that it is just personal conjecture due to yesterdays RNS and I am not implying this as a certainty :-)

Learn how to value and analyse tech companies in the growth stage Dev is - plenty of online assistance and other contemporaries for comparison. It is a bit like how people mistakenly try and value junior mining exploration companies with no production revenue with the likes of Rio, BHP, Newmont etc.
