You can't discount future raises at this particular point in time Wolfy. If he did claim to never undertake another placing or never require more funding I'd consider him dishonest or having unrealistic opinions. I'd suggest you consider whether a placing in the future is a reasonably potential event and decide whether you want to stay invested if it does as you are repeatedly voicing this as a concern - so it must be a major concern to you.
Personally I want to see how the Oz projects play out over the next 12-18 months - the others don't concern me unless as D2 did when Capstone initiated a JV they become more significant. Now that D2 is back to us it plays less importance to me unless we see some promising results in future.
There are very very few explorers who make it - so we're playing with a high probability of failure - however there are hundreds to choose from and personally I feel UFO has a chance of bucking the trend with the Oz projects , so while they hold promise I'm playing this out.

I gave some feedback afterwards using their system that I found the videos and imagery useful in understanding the projects and progress better and that the Q&A was very useful too. I also stated that I'd like to see a quarterly update personally if progress warrants updating us this regularly. Worth doing the same if you found the webinar useful or if you have suggestions/criticisms, make the time to feedback :-)

The problem with volatility and hype Freddie is it could go the other way too. I'd love for us to still be in the 30's but at least we seem very stable and I do think the PFS will get us going again and who knows what else may occur in between........

CHRIS2 - RNS clearly states a combination of their opinion of results from their work at D2 and redirection of corporate focus towards more developed opportunities. The data will give an opportunity to analyse their data for Bill and decide future strategy. Use those two brain cells you are so proud of lol
Initial exploratory work rarely brings amazing results so doesn't mean there definitely isn't anything worthwhile as they were interested initially due to the available data.Capstone are performing very well and have plenty of cash to buy into a more developed opportunity so can't criticise them as they realised it may take more time and money than they anticipated to try and find an economic deposit at D2 which given their locality would have been very fruitful for both them and us.
Unbelievable you weren't even aware of the JV details yet chose to critique..........do some homework on fundamentals or learn TA to trade better. I am not saying D2 is definitely viable or definitely not although of course this is a disappointing turn of events. Personally, I hope focus is kept on Oz projects in the near to mid-term.

So glad and happy to see you have found a path forward TMT, my mother died very suddenly and unexpectedly over the course of 36 hours after appearing to be fully recovered a year after major surgery a few years ago and is still truly heartbreaking. Just days before retirement too so all the plans my parents had made over in that one weekend of being admitted to hospital feeling ill from flu like symptoms and sadly departing.
My dad too says he will never get over it as you don't after loss of your loved ones but is definitely happy with life again and found new priorities and interests. I am sure your wife lives on in your children and grandchildren in the way they will go through life with her lessons and guidance. I know exactly what my mother would have said when needing her advice still and her guidance shapes my life in always trying to be kind and thoughtful and help others where possible the way she was.
Not remotely religious but I always appreciate how their faith helps guide, inspire and support so many around me in their darkest moments and am sure your wife would have been very proud of you as you will be helping inspire and support others :-))
Definetly struggling to see a man of the cloth keep involved in investing as your mentors suggest, but you might be able to give some interestingly themed sermons using trading examples nonetheless .....

Do i feel we'll forever remain under 1p and fizzle out due to D2 which I described as an 'extra' to the main reasons for investing here for myself - definitely not - so I won't be selling.
The termination of the JV with Capstone reminds us of the risks inherent when investing in explorers and the recent P&D to 3p definitely hasn't helped sentiment and causes concern for new investors looking to enter. However, we still have those very strong opportunities in one of the safest and best jurisdictions in the world which lead most of us who invested of late to invest here.
The Hammersley project has real potential, if the Elisabeth Hill tailings come off (another extra) then that's fantastic too and we'll see what else happens at E.Hills - surely having a proven silver resource might pay off considering the impact of the pandemic and the general sentiment for PM's?
IMO when I weigh the risks vs the potential gains here - UFO is still an excellent proposition. DYOR and enjoy the weather :-))

I'll keep open minded as would like to see the data but if Capstone aren't interested then not sure we should focus too heavily on D2 any more. I came here looking for silver exposure and came across the iron ore too - the other projects didn't really factor in too much with my decision to invest.
The Capstone JV and the tailings at EH are 'extras' I didn't expect so if they come off or not isn't critical to my staying invested here - I'd like to see another set of strong results and a potential JV moving forward and a clearer idea of E.Hill plans in 2022 outside the tailings.
D2 even if still viable will take time for us to explore without a partner and this is a real step back not just a blip on D2 - best to focus on the Hammersley and E.Hill projects I think :-)

I can't see an updated broker note from T&P doing much to the SP anyway Max at this stage, but appreciate you trying to correct them :-)
We'll see proper movement on very significant news - so until then I'm happy to be patient.
Before someone tells me I could be making money elsewhere - it is always a double-edged sword as you could easily lose money too.
Happy to hold here long term as long as we keep on getting positive news and focus on other things as I don't spend every waking moment thinking of capital growth :-)

Wasn't expecting the material contract news until July onwards so fab news and encourangingly India seems to be making progress against CV-19 too. They seem to have gone from around 391k new cases on average daily a month ago to around 117k, hopefully this continues to decrease rapidly.
We have a real presence growing in one of the very best geo's for EdTech penetration and growth - very pleasing update today :-)

Fair point wents, hence the chance to still buy cheaply to speculate.
I would argue that Elisabeth Hills and Hammersley Iron Ore projects do have value besides just speculation. The tailings if viable will provide a nearer term opportunity for cash and more positive results on the iron ore will hopefully lead to a JV etc. in the next half of year.
If Capstone Jv leads to early positive results for D2 by year end then they too will start to add real value to UFO, mist explorers chug along on speculation then fail, we at least are building some value now.
I have decided to not cash my current gains and speculate on these positive outcomes playing out, these parameters matter more to me than the current SP at this point in time.

That's the thing Nap - I don't think people realise how infuriating it can be investing in explorers - generally with most a waste of money too as they fail lol
People should really listen to some of the YouTube interviews by Lassonde and Rule etc. when they talk about their experience and strategies of investing in juniors.
I'll never claim UFO is risk free as if it were it wouldn't be this cheap BUT to me it is one of the better opportunities for a 1000% gain in this sector - but won't be overnight - far from it.
Best thing for those who get impatient is stay away from chat boards and set up alerts for RNS's and price alerts on their portfolio.

The markets are ruled by fear and greed - that is why SP's often do the opposite of what appears to be common sense, investing is a lot less stressful once you embrace this fact.
Of course I'm assuming that Chris2 has some common sense - looking at his trading decisions - he is actually part of the 'herd' that pay the wages of the professionals lol
Seems to me that some really have an issue that despite the SP not being in line with the results to date we aren't all moaning and crying in place of being positive, could be we have seen this all play out before on other investments. GGP and DEV last year as two examples for me - despite retraces those of us who stayed the course are still enjoying huge gains :-)
Chris2 - JV or a sale while 'the stuff is still in the ground ' is more likely than going to production solo for a junior - do some homework junior.
This board today reminds me of GGP in 2020 - hopefully a good sign......

As someone who has worked with a lot of different companies (in terms of scale and industry) advising them on various areas I've found that you can't categorise or judge a 'type' whether individual or collectively just by focusing on one area of their performance. Best to take a lot of time to get to understand the individuals leading the business and those playing key roles before making any strong recommendations and conclusions.
It is a bit like how you find some gruff unfriendly individuals to actually have hearts of gold once you break through their defences and some of the most charming people in life turn out to be snakes......
Or how some of the staff who have given the best interviews ever turn out to be useless vs those that didn't shine but turn out to be absolute stars when it comes to 'getting the job done'.
Still - when it comes to investing we can only come to our own conclusions based on intuition, experience and how we judge a individual has performed - personally very very happy with Bill to date :-)

I'd like to see a JV on the iron ore project agreed later this year, along with promising results from the D2 Capstone JV announced and of course the EH tailings prove viable and agreed for commencement in the near term. A combination of the above should help us start the next climb up and see real progress leading into next year and beyond.
Hopefully in conjunction with a rise in PM prices and iron ore staying steady next year - way too much expectation on near term success here when most know how long and tedious the process for exploring and proving up projects actually take.
