Jack, I absolutely don't think you purposefully disrupt mate (in fact it is good to have you challenge the board at times) but you don't seem to understand the nature of chat boards and the inherent football fan type nature of them. I think you've received a few bloody noses on this board now and holding a bit of negativity towards it and perhaps - we deserve it .
Any board you're likely to name as being 'balanced' probably has very very little activity on it with a a handful of posters. Once a company has real success you are going to build a rabid fan base - think of Apple fans arguing with PC owners to justify the premium pricing etc.
Paddy obviously isn't a trader so he 'sits on his hands' as in buy and forget until end game - some might want to trade the swings - but very few (if any) of them are going to have the same level of return as Paddy and others like him on the same timeline and level of capital invested.
Their long term and patient approach has very probably assured them of a hefty 7 figure return even if as you suggest we do get a TO offer that manages to get through in the near term. Same applies for me - I don't think I'm looking at a less than 7 figure return now when this plays out fully based on my holding although I'm not a LTH. I saw the potential in Dec 2019 and went in heavy. Maybe you've done well trading in and out of GGP and perhaps with a TO it will really enhance your retirement and I hope it does :-)
I undertake and utlise research across a vast array of industries inc. working with data sets a great deal in my work - I don't take these kind of positions without a lot of DD and research due to my background - simple stabs in the dark are not for me. I am watching quite a few of the peers you post on and have researched them and not one of them I personally think has the early promise GGP had with Hav. Yes of course - things may change in time on them but these (Havieron) kind of opportunities come in very rarely in an investment lifetime. GGP is now a different investment case of course than many of those hopefuls - but less risky too with plenty of upside. Heck if any of them hit - I may be joining you on them :-)
As always we should all DYOR, 2021 has reminded us of the incredible effect PI sentiment can have on the most promising of stocks. Fear and Greed will always rule the markets but patience along with thorough research are probably the best weapons in a PI's artillery.

silver - there is another way where you can invest in explorers and not have to be so patient and that is when they solidify their potential with good initial drill results etc - but far more costly to secure a sizeable holding - but then you can enjoy a more accelerated pace of growth.
As far as I am concerned as someone who had the either the foresight (or stupidity) to invest when the share price was far lower and risks far higher, one of the perks is a low average that allows me to cash out earlier if I so well choose and easier to ride out volatility. I don't need to answer to any Johnny Come Late types who jumped in on a spike without doing DD and research redely accusing me of selling out.
However like HH, I intend to hold for the long term with the proviso that I see certain scenarios play out along the project timelines. No one answers to you or anyone else when they decide to buy or sell mate so with all respect pipe down a bit with the baseless accusations and let us keep the board respectful :-)

Yep - he is aware of the sentiment being low so doing what a good CEO should and increasing the comms to help reassure investors.
If he hadn't been interviewed he probably as some say would be getting stick for not promoting UFO enough - unfortunately we have an aggrieved shareholder base at the moment - so we need BIG news to return positive sentiment and going to take time.
I found the last presentation much more useful with the additional content and hope he does them on a regular basis as we move through our project milestones on Han**** and E.Hills :-)

Jack - Mate. you really haven't gone into the technical reasons as to why Cana's Broker note is the most accurate BTW in comparison to the others - just a hypothesis as to why they got it right.........
Do you understand the broker note and everything contained within it to be making an informed opinion is a question we all should be asking ourselves before we commend or criticise.
Otherwise surely it is just blind faith - the same as you are espousing many have for Bamps :-)
I don't rec a post because somebody I like is posting - I rec because I appreciate AND understand the content. I may not always agree with their conclusions either - I may just appreciate the effort and time and expertise even if I disagree.

Always could consider laddered approach where you buy in daily over the course of a few days if you feel unsure about where price might be going - it doesn't have to be all in one transaction and of course DYOR :-))

If you see the target price as £1 by year end and likelihood of 50-60p near to mid term then a few pence won't matter here or there and I recall posting this a few times now on Dev the last 18 months :-)
I always thought 2021 was going to be the start of stellar growth and my posting history backs this - but I wasn't expecting the likelihood of £1 quite so soon as I was basing my projections at the time solely on the lenovo roll out but so much more on top has occurred - so many unexpected and positive developments akin to a snowball effect starting last year.
These volatile drops occur but as long as they are just based on PI sentiment which is often incorrect and not fundamentals I just always stick with my investments and/or take the opportunity to top up.
Dev has so much momentum, so much funding now, large and very serious investors and partners, the deals we have lined up now and the influential Business Advisory and Intelligence Group , really I could go on and on..........

It is always hard work investing in volatile growth stocks Yo-homes so don't kick yourself over hindsight and Dev's potential isn't the easiest to get your head around if you're not well versed in the sector :-)
The good news is in future you'll be better financed to ride volatility out on other investments thanks to Dev.

Jack - out of genuine interest what makes you think that the Canaccord note is more accurate versus the others?
Also - chat boards with serious volume in number of posts never stay sensible - look at the majority of top boards as such.......

Hi Jack - I don't think an hour or so long webinar is something to dwell too much on, but you could be correct that the aim is to appease PI's as obviously we have seen some selling in the past few months.
Personally, I am not discounting some form of manipulation but in reality I don't really care until/if it happens. I am happily holding and focusing on the data coming out every 6 weeks. My next stage for reassessment is the PFS.
It is an opportunity for Shaun to interact with us and give an overview of his long term corporate strategy and that is the context I will be viewing it in . It is funny that the assumption that an RNS is coming prior to a presentation being scheduled happens all the time on every stock - but rarely if ever amounts to anything :-)

They belong here as much as anyone HH - liquidity and all that :-)
I'm expecting a hum drum journey for a while until something big and positive happens and once you accept that it is easier to switch off and keep busy elsewhere. We're definitely on the same page when it comes to a long term philosophy but of course we both have low averages, sat on paper gains and blooming easy for us to say some might suggest! BUT it is patience that got us to this position.
AIM is always going to attract a more speculative investor more likely to buy and sell frequently looking for those sub penny to pound overnight dream stocks. They get impatient at times such as these and move on to the next 'opportunity'.
The sad truth is that most will never find the overnight lottery win and the route to success is finding promising companies and being patient and resistant to volatility or just being in a financial position to have the funds to buy in large volumes when already fairly derisked at a good price point. Luck of course plays a part as so many things can go wrong to even the best companies.

I think it is pretty clear cut if a sale is completed and as a PI you are not happy with the future prospects of SRES - you just sell you shares and move on. A special Div is likely I'd have thought as per Twiggy's post as no way are most PI's going to want to spend it all on the risky business of exploring PM's which is very heavily weighted against success. Most of us know the odds if well researched in this sector.
I remain very optimistic as the CS Project derisks holding SRES now - IMO just down to being very patient now and letting everything play out.

Yep - that is the theory espoused by many analysts and not just the more biased ones HH as this drop had been widely forecast......
Now hopefully the rest holds true leading into the 28th and we see big movements back up. Certainly hasn't been boring trying to predict anything accurately since the pandemic threw the world into chaos....... :-)

That has always been my thinking mate - either way we're onto a winner. Invariably nothing goes up in a straight line but zoom that chart out and I'd say we're looking very good in the last 18 months :-)

Who is following Max Chris? II the nicest possible way I couldn't care less what Max does, or indeed you or anyone else on this board as their money so their choice. It makes sense to me based on my own research to have bought a sizeable amount while sub penny and be prepared to hold for a few years to return multiples IF we get the outcomes I have speculated on. There are other good opportunities out there too - go find them if not happy here.
You decided to 'follow the market' and bought in during the 3p spike based on research but the massive amount of hyperbole that was present online on twitter and chat boards when this was blatantly being pumped and dumped. Go look in a mirror and right there is the person to blame - staring right back at you. Problem is with that P&D, it will keep many PI's wary now until real progress such as an initial MRE derisks us.
